This enables us to deliver results in all aspects of our business.</span></span></p> <p><u>Chemistry Co-op-Quality Assurance Department</u></p> <p>Hasbro is currently recruiting an enthusiastic, technically curious & confident undergraduate student to work as a Quality Assurance Co-op at our Pawtucket, RI headquarters.</p> <p>Under supervision from Quality Assurance and Laboratory management, the QA co-op will be primarily working with reliability engineers, laboratory personnel and QA staff to help identify and track chemicals used in our products, assist in the preparation of regulatory reports, toy product safety and performance test specifications, and ensure the acceptable completion and documentation of all test results.</p> <p>We also offer a unique opportunity to our students by participating in Hasbro’s Co-op EPIC group project. Co-ops work in teams to bring an idea for a Hasbro product to concept stage. This includes presenting the idea to business partners at various checkpoints in the process, and prototyping the concept for presentation.</p> <p><u>Specific Tasks/ Accountabilities:</u></p> <p>- Develop a basic understanding of the product development process</p> <p>- Participate in team meetings</p> <p>- Understand regulatory and industry requirements as they apply to chemicals in toys</p> <p>- Devise product testing requirements; review test results/data</p> <p>- Interact daily with QA, Product Engineering, Design, and Marketing team</p> <p>- Assist with bench work and testing of new formulas as well as help maintain lab organization and maintenance</p> <p>- Assist in the data collection and review to prepare submissions as required under Federal/state chemical reporting regulations.</p> <p>- Participate in Hasbro’s Engineering Product Innovation Co-op Challenge (EPIC Challenge). This is an annual event where co-ops work in teams to bring an idea for a Hasbro product to concept stage.
