2026 Summer Digital Innovations Designer Internship
We are currently recruiting creative students to assist the Product Design team in developing our products and experiences over a 26-week co-op. As a Co-op Digital Innovations Designer, you'll be part of the AI Acceleration team, contributing in a variety of ways. From ideating break-frame digital play experiences, visualizing toy and game concepts with peers, prototyping digital solutions, and collaborating with a broader multi-disciplinary team. Creative problem-solving and a strong understanding of the digital innovations process are a must.
As a Digital Innovations Designer, the ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic workplace, be motivated by team collaboration and multidisciplinary partnerships, and manage multiple projects effectively. The role will be part of a team dedicated to building play experiences that will excite consumers of all kinds around the globe.
What You'll Do as a Digital Innovations Designer:

Visualize new concepts via approved AI tools, partnering to deliver digital prototypes, and showcasing your methods that help others learn.

Research current trends in emerging digital and play categories, crafting insights to spark new inspiration for the design process.

Work cross-functionally with Design, Development, Marketing, and other business orgs to consult and develop solutions for our and their needs.

Assist in preparation for and help deliver internal presentations for new digital and phygital (physical and digital) play concepts.

Assist in building play and production specifications to define product details for prototypes and production.

Evaluating digital builds to ensure quality and experience are consistent with internal vision and true to brand standards.
What You'll Bring:
-
Currently enrolled in an accredited, degree-seeking program pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Digital Design, Interaction Design, Artificial Intelligence, or equivalent major with at least one quarter or semester left after December 2026.

Available to work full-time hours in-person at our Pawtucket, RI office location for the entire duration of the co-op.

Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.

Completion of at least two years of study within an undergraduate design program (ideally Digital or Interaction Design).

Strong proficiency in creative tools, ideally including Adobe Creative Suite, Firefly, Substance. Familiarity with Figma or equivalent

Strong proficiency in AI tools use, ideally including generative text, images, and audio.

Great communication & interpersonal efficiency skills

Passion for collaboration, play and consumer product development

Deep passion to learning, iterating, experimenting, and delivering in a collaborative environment.

A GREAT love of toys and FUN!

Prior experience game modding including un-launched or launched titles.

The base salary range for this position is $29.00 to $33.00. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
