Compensation Programs Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex compensation programs and technical solutions across the global organization, translating compensation strategies into actionable software configurations, and overseeing the full lifecycle of the company’s annual compensation planning processes, including merit increases, promotions, bonus calculations, and equity awards.

 

Specific duties include:

  • Ensure the compensation cycles align with organizational objectives regarding timing, budgets, organizational changes, and country-specific requirements across 38 countries in 5 regions.
  • Collaborate with HR stakeholders to coordinate all aspects of the compensation cycle. Explore best market practices and propose enhancements to ensure compensation programs remain competitive.
  • Prepare comprehensive global financial models for Finance, projecting budgets for salary increases, bonuses, and long-term incentives (LTI) using advanced Excel tools.
  • Lead customization and development of compensation planning system, including designing and customizing the company's compensation planning module within SAP SuccessFactors, translating the organization's compensation philosophy into software configurations, writing technical requirements for upcoming compensation cycles and leading system testing.
  • Manage the compensation cycles’ technical perspective, including managers’ planning, data integration into the analytical module and feeding new data into payroll systems globally.
  • Lead technical and analytical sides of various Compensation Projects and act as a SME in designing competitive rewards programs, providing comprehensive analytics and technical support for program development.
  • Develop and maintain dynamic compensation tools and models using Power BI, VBA, Power Apps, and other technologies to optimize process.
  • -Create solutions for compensation dashboards and analytics, including developing and implementing custom dashboards using tools such as Power BI and VBA , designing comprehensive analytics solutions to catch trends and patterns, and generate detailed reports to offer actionable insights.

 

Position is fixed location based in Pawtucket, RI office; however, telecommuting from a home office may also be allowed up to two (2) days per week.

 

Job Requirements:

 Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics or a directly related field plus seven (7) years of experience in HR Compensation program design across multiple geographies.

 

Must include five (5) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

  • Experience working with Advanced Excel add-ins tools, including Arixcel and Power Pivots.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI, including developing dashboards and data models.
  • Applying programming languages such as VBA coding, R, or Python to create tools and automate processes. 
  • Managing and executing compensation planning cycles, including merit increases, bonus payouts, and equity award distributions.
  • Managing compensation programs across multiple countries, collaborating with regional HR teams to ensure global alignment while addressing country-specific nuances, including preparing materials for HR teams to present to local work councils.
  • Market benchmarking using tools such as PayScale or PayFactors to develop competitive compensation strategies.
  • Big data analytics for compensation projects, including advanced data modeling and analysis to inform decision-making.

 

Three (3) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

  • Managing cross-functional collaboration among teams including HR, IT, Finance, and Legal to ensure seamless execution of compensation programs.
  • Developing compensation planning solutions within SAP SuccessFactors.

 

Data Analyst Certification, with a focus on Power BI or a similar analytical tool (e.g., PL-300), is required.**

 

40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm.
