From Toys-to-life to the Internet of Toys, from Augmented Reality to Mixed Reality this group are at the cutting edge of the play industry.<br/><br/>ROLE<br/><br/>We are looking for an inventive, entrepreneurial and visionary development professional, who can think about consumer experience first and is comfortable working on both physical products & digital software while connecting the two in innovative and engaging ways.<br/><br/>Reporting to the VP of design & development, the Lead of Augmented Play will manage a small design & development team focused on the creation and execution of exciting and dynamic integrated play platforms leveraging Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and Mixed Reality that consist of both physical hardware and connected software (mobile/tablet/console/TV). The successful candidate will be expected to manage high-complexity projects themselves as well as delegating and overseeing other projects with the team directly reporting to them<br/><br/>The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with Hasbro Franchise brands such as Transformers, Monopoly & My Little Pony, our key partner brands including Star Wars and Marvel. Through insight gathering, brainstorming, ideation, rapid prototyping and testing, you and your team will bring new opportunities to fruition that will immerse, engage, and delight consumers across the age spectrum.<br/><br/>Through key collaborations with brand marketing and other development partners your will create a clear and shared vision for each project. You will craft the total experience map to a presentable & and shareable level and drive the development process from RFP (Request for Proposal) with potential developers through to launch and beyond (live ops) overseeing internal and external development resources on prototyping 2D & 3D design, content design, game design and software execution.<br/><br/>You will have the experience & capabilities to ideate and develop products and experiences in the Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and Mixed reality spaces.<br/><br/>The successful candidate will have responsibility for creating and driving new disruptive ideas forward, incubating evolving and prototyping them to eventually sell in to partners and senior management. You will drive user-testing throughout the development of the product/experience, both in-house and externally. Consequently, adapting or re-balancing the software based on test observations, to improve the overall play experience. The role will also assume accountability for a portion of Integrated Plays’ Digital development & R&D budgets.<br/><br/>As part of the Integrated Play leadership group you will also work closely with the Directors of Production, Engineering, Technology and collaborate with the other creative leads.<br/><br/>EXPERIENCE<br/>&bull; 10 Years of product/game development experience (experience in the kids entertainment space preferred)<br/>&bull; 5 Years as a leader of creative development teams.
