Are you curious about technology and have a passion for solving problems? We have a key role available in our Content Solutions Services (CSS) organization. The Digital Content Specialist will partner with internal teams to perform an analysis and handle the on-boarding of new digital content to applications, existing or new, that support Hasbro’s digital supply chain. This role will support the organization’s objectives of supporting a customer focused culture while considering design optimization and usability to drive adoption. The position is also will lead a matrix of resources both directly and dispersed to achieve project objectives.  Recent or upcoming graduates are encouraged to apply!

 

A day in the life of a Digital Content Specialist:

  • Understand business needs / requirements and industry trends in the digital content space: this includes talking to the application user community to understand their current challenges, their department goals, etc.
  • Ability to detail challenges in a clear, concise manner to ensure all those affected understand the challenge (e.g., process flow diagrams, technology interaction models, etc.) and potential solutions.
  • Use conversations with the business to identify how current and / or future applications can best support their challenges with an eye towards the overall user experience: this includes crafting potential solutions, defining how they should work to a developer, prioritizing solutions / features with developer.
  • Application administration including: modifying / crafting new workflows or project templates, application configuration to support the business’ needs, report generation / modification, etc.
  • Solve technical application issues while digging into and understanding root causes.

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Technical experience with digital asset management, content collaboration, and workflow based solutions.
  • Understanding of the typical software development lifecycle and agile development practices.
  • Good communication, relationship building, and customer service based skills.
  • Clearly detail and articulate challenges turning them into opportunities – experience with analysis methodologies such as LEAN, Six-Sigma, etc. a plus!
  • Understanding of product owner role and user experience standard methodologies.
  • Experience building, producing and supporting rich media content (images, video, etc).
  • Knowledge of the Adobe Suite of products (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.
  • Degree or formal experience in web, graphic arts production, content management, or Information Technology preferred.
