Filling the role of Game Artist, including environment, character, 3d generalist, 2D/concept, game design work for mobile, web and digital location-based experiences. This role is hands-on and is a perfect opportunity for an intern to make an impact on a growing digital competency. The Game Artist intern will end up with a full portfolio of digital experiences developed with direct input.</p> <p> </p> <p>As a Game Artist at Hasbro, you will be part of the Digital Operations team. We strive to drive digital experiences on any platform across any device. You will be responsible for assisting the team in developing engaging, compelling experiences for our brands and tools.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Core Strengths:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Contributes to the conceptualization, design, and development of beautiful and engaging art assets.</li> <li>Creates characters, environments, animations, concepts, and/or VFX for mobile and web-based games.</li> <li>Implements tasks as requested by the Art team to streamline and support production.</li> <li>Helps with all visual aspects of bringing a game to market, including assisting in the creation of marketing materials (screenshots, touchups, banners, video trailers, icon creation, etc.)</li> <li>Maintains excellent communication internally and externally with our development partners</li> <li>Communicates and collaborates with key stakeholders to confirm task direction and consistency of own work</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Key Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program for art, design or related field</li> <li>Experience with Unity3d and Unreal Engine is a plus</li> <li>An available portfolio</li> <li>Excellent Oral and written communication skills</li> <li>Ability to think critically and document design decisions with reference to quantitative data, user feedback and design best practices</li> </ul> <p>Hasbro (NASDAQ: HAS) is a global play and entertainment company committed to Creating the World's Best Play Experiences.
