Electrical Engineering Co-op (July- Dec 2019) Fri Feb 22 02:00:00 CST 2019 Pawtucket, RI 532825300 9863 Global Development 4 Seas/Int/Coop/Din Sv <p>Education Requirements: Undregrad or Grad in field of Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering (Computer Science major also considered if candidate has hardware/microcontroller experience)</p> <p> </p> <p>On the job, the co-op will:</p> <p> </p> <p>• Create electronic schematics (using Multisim)</p> <p>• Build and test electrical prototype boards (solder, debug)</p> <p>• Write IC programs for electronic toys (using 8-bit microprocessors)</p> <p>• Depending on project needs, may learn Cortex M or 16-bit microcontroller languages and work with accelerometers/gyros</p> <p>• Perform sound editing (using SoundForge)</p> <p>• Refine product game plays for program development (i.e. work with flow charts)</p> <p>• Identify & troubleshoot issues with development models & work with overseas vendors to correct them</p> <p>• Evaluate competitive products</p> <p>• Perform research on new electronic technologies</p> <p>• Must have basic programming skills & knowledge of basic electronics & transistor theory. (Soldering skill is required; on-the-job training is available if necessary.)</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Preferred Skills (additional but not necessary)</p> <ul> <li>Experience on competitive robotics teams and/or Arduino is a big "plus".</li> </ul> <p> </p>
