This enables us to deliver results in all aspects of our business.</span></span></p> <p><b>Intern, Global Consumer Insights</b></p> <p> </p> <p>The Global Consumer Insights team at Hasbro serves as the voice of kids, parents, adults and families around the world.  Our mission is to interpret human behavior by listening, asking, observing, and immersing ourselves in the lives of our consumers to proactively identify insights and opportunities that drive brand engagement and sales growth.  We function as a strategic consultancy within the organization and regularly partner with a wide variety of functions, including Brand, Design, Regional Marketing, IP/Entertainment, and Licensing.</p> <p> </p> <p>We are seeking a curious, flexible and highly motivated undergraduate student for a 3-month/10-12 week internship position. In this role, you will assist members of the Global Consumer Insights team with a variety of market research and consumer insights projects, gaining exposure to a range of primary and secondary/syndicated research methods, marketing challenges, and business units at Hasbro.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Primary Duties and Responsibilities</strong>:</p> <p>Under the direction of Global Consumer Insights Primary team, the undergraduate intern will support the department’s mission to help Hasbro know the consumer better through knowledge, insights, and by executing market research projects.  These will include strategic brand and IP research studies, product/concept tests, advertising tests, entertainment research, consumer immersions, secondary/syndicated research, and innovation initiatives. </p> <p> </p> <p>Specifically, the intern will work alongside Managers and Directors in GCI to:</p> <p>•   Meet with internal clients to define business priorities/needs and recommend research solutions</p> <p>•   Assist with design and execution of research projects (proposal procurement, vendor selection and management, survey/discussion guide development, data collection/interviewing, analysis, and reporting)</p> <p>•   Assist in managing Hasbro Community research projects and mine member-generated discussions for insights</p> <p>•   Communicate key learnings and recommended action steps to internal partners</p> <p>•   Observe consumers interacting with our brands and products in Hasbro’s on-site Funlab facility</p> <p>•   Assist on ad hoc insights assignments</p> <p>•   Synthesize data across syndicated/secondary research sources to generate insights, address ad-hoc client questions, and identify relevant trends in the industry/marketplace</p> <p> </p> <p>Candidates are responsible for their own housing & transportation (FREE Parking).  Hasbro headquarters in Pawtucket, RI is 1.3 mi from the South Attleboro, MA commuter rail station and we offer shuttle service. </p> <p> </p> <p><a href="">Hasbro</a> (NASDAQ: HAS) is a global company committed to Creating the World’s Best Play Experiences, by leveraging its beloved brands, including LITTLEST PET SHOP, MAGIC: THE GATHERING, MONOPOLY, MY LITTLE PONY, NERF and TRANSFORMERS, and premier partner brands.
