We're seeking a Global Product Manager to support our Publishing portfolio of new games!

This role will support the global product development and marketing processes, line planning activities, brand strategy and data and analysis to drive growth and unlock incremental opportunities across the portfolio!  Help us deliver insight-driven new products and highly impactful partnerships to bring new brands to Hasbro Gaming Portfolio including games in the cards, strategy, and adult sub-segments.

 

A day in the life as a Global Product Manager:

  • Support in the creation of a multi-year product pipeline to drive growth by launching new brands across the games category.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Design & Development, Brand Writing, Packaging, Engineering, Legal and Finance to develop innovative product lines that meet financial objectives
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills and become the global consumer insights and competitive market segment specialist to contribute to insight-led product development
  • Help drive research initiatives to optimize products & messaging
  • Manage critical data and forecasting information; additionally, ensuring the integrity of that information throughout internal systems across the portfolio
  • Drive product marketing asset development and rollout with Franchise/Consumer Marketing, PR, Legal and Brand Writing teams as well as Licensors
  • Partner with regional marketing teams to understand business needs, retailer trends & challenges, share best practices, identify growth opportunities, and provide guidance on local plans
  • Help deliver highly impactful presentations to internal team members, partners and retail accounts
  • Provide timely and consistent communication of in market performance and other key information to internal business and market partners 

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or related field
  • 5 years’ experience in a fast-paced Consumer Products role specifically managing product.
  • A passion for gaming and a finger on the pulse of today’s play trends
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and strong interest to showcase and develop your creative and financial skill set
  • Expertise in transforming strategy and vision into actionable plans
  • Experience managing external relationships with a diverse range of licensors preferred
  • Strong written and oral communication
  • A strong balance of data and creativity
  • A proactive, enthusiastic, and collaborative approach, and an innate curiosity and eagerness to learn and problem-solve across the business
  • High attention to detail and driven nature to execute with excellence
  • A consumer-centric mentality, with the ability to get into the mind of consumers to make recommendations that guide the brand
  • Analytical skills: Experience in analyzing POS, NPD, and other data-reporting systems; Ability to understand and interpret qualitative data relating to our consumers and brands
  • Presentation skills: Capability to provide sophisticated information in a compelling way using story to persuade an audience.

 

 

Compensation Range, Currency USD:

  • Starting Pay Range: $97,000
  • Pay Range End: $145,500
