2026 Summer HR Operations Intern    

The Internship Experience  

Over the course of 12 weeks, a select group of college and university students will join us, gaining valuable work experience and insights into our most exciting products. Interns engage with Hasbro's beloved brands, gaining meaningful work-experience through day-to-day training, hands-on projects, executive exposure, individual development planning and mentorship.

Gain hands-on experience in Human Resources at a globally recognized company as an HR Operations Intern at Hasbro. You will be part of a collaborative HR team supporting key processes across Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast. In this role, you’ll contribute to delivering a seamless employee experience while supporting operational excellence across onboarding, compliance, data integrity, and policy implementation.  

What You'll Do as a HR Operations Intern  

  • Support the coordination of new‑hire onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth and positive employee experience. 

  • Contribute to a compliant and well‑organized offboarding process, including accurate documentation, timely system updates, and professional employee transitions. 

  • Serve as a point of contact for general HR operational questions, escalating issues appropriately. 

  • Partner with HR team members to ensure HR policies and processes are consistently applied and clearly communicated across business units. 

  • Maintain and update employee records, documents, spreadsheets, and HR systems to uphold data accuracy and completeness. 

  • Identify opportunities to improve HR process efficiency, streamline documentation workflows, and elevate overall HR service delivery. 

What You'll Bring:  

  • Enrollment in an accredited, degree‑seeking undergraduate program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with at least one quarter or semester remaining after August 2026. 

  • Availability to work full‑time, in‑person at the Pawtucket, RI office for the full duration of the internship. 

  • Authorization to work in the United States for any employer. 

  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint), plus comfort using AI tools such as Copilot or ChatGPT; familiarity with HRIS platforms (SAP, SuccessFactors, or similar) is a plus. 

  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and integrity. 

  • A proactive, service‑oriented mindset with the curiosity and willingness to learn. 

  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. 

Nice to Have:  

  • Experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS) such as SAP, SuccessFactors, Workday, or similar platforms. 

  • Familiarity with onboarding/offboarding processes, ticketing or case‑management tools, or workflow tracking systems. 

  • Experience creating or updating process documentation, SOPs, or workflow maps. 

  • A basic understanding of employment law, compliance requirements, or HR policy frameworks. 

  • Experience performing data audits, quality checks, or working with sensitive employee data. 

  • Intermediate‑to‑advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data cleaning). 

  • Interest or exposure to people analytics, HR reporting, or visualizing HR metrics. 

  • Background in customer service or roles requiring professionalism, clarity, and confidentiality. 

  • Familiarity with change‑management concepts or supporting team‑wide improvement initiatives. 

  • Experience collaborating in fast‑paced, highly collaborative environments — especially within large organizations. 

  • Comfort with learning new technologies and leveraging AI‑supported tools to enhance efficiency. 

Compensation Range, Currency USD:   

  • Undergraduate Interns: $25.00 – $31.00/hour 

Program Details  

  • Interview Timeline: February – April  

  • Program Dates:  

  • Start: Early June (target June 8)  

  • End: Late August (target August 21)  

  • Commitment: Full-time (40 hours/week)  

  • Compensation:  

  • Undergraduate Interns:  $25.00 – $31.00/hour 

  • Final rates communicated during offer process  

  • Location: Internship locations vary by role and team. Most opportunities are hybrid or in-office and based in one of Hasbro’s core hubs or satellite offices, including:

The base salary range for this position is $25.00 to $31.00. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
