About the Internship Program:

 

Over the course of 10 weeks, a select group of college and university students will join us, gaining valuable work experiences and insights into our most exciting products. Interns engage with Hasbro’s beloved brands, gaining meaningful work-experience through day-to-day training, hands-on projects, executive exposure, individual development planning, and mentorship.

 

  • Our program runs between June 10 - August 16, 2024.

The Consumer Insights intern will have the opportunity to join our growing Analytics, Insights, & Measurements (AIM) team and work across our business and brands! In this role, you will analyze global quantitative and qualitative data, surface trends, and translate findings into actionable insights. You will also contribute to research programs about our audiences, brands, products, and advertising creative.

 

We are looking for someone who loves Hasbro’s brands and is curious about consumer motivations and behavior. On this team, you will learn what it takes to become a voice of the consumer who fearlessly uses data and insights to help teams build world-class brands and products.

 

A day in the life of the Consumer Insights intern:

 

  • In collaboration with AIM teammates and vendors, design research projects and insightful analyses that inform brand strategies, product development, and advertising

  • Help support development of our trends capability, mining data sources for insights, recommending approaches and deliverables to make them usable for internal partners

  • Support execution of research projects that are a mix of strategic and tactical, with a focus on concept testing, volumetric, and ad testing

  • Balance multiple projects simultaneously across all phases of execution – briefing, design, data collection, analysis, and reporting

  • Access and synthesize data from multiple sources – primary research, secondary/syndicated data, and analytic outputs – to inform decisions

  • Effectively communicate findings and recommended action steps to business partners through simple yet compelling narratives

 

What you'll bring:

 

  • Currently pursuing a MBA with at least one quarter or semester left after August 2024.

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience required, preferably in social sciences, marketing/market research, or a related subject area.

  • Available for full-time work for 10 weeks; open to in-person or remote candidates.

  • Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.

  • The ability to extract and concisely summarize important information from data

  • Curiosity and the inclination to ask “why?”

  • Strong critical thinking problem solving abilities

  • Comfort with quantitative analysis and basic statistics

  • Team oriented but able to work independently.

  • Initiative, organization, and attention to detail

  • Flexible, adaptable work style

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

 

Nice to Have:

 

  • Prior experience with Power BI

  • Knowledge of Qualtrics or related survey development platforms would be a plus!
