Nerf is seeking an imaginative and hardworking Graphic Design Intern to join our team! This position reports to Action Brands - Nerf Creative Development team and will be responsible for working with the team on creating trend-focused designs and packaging layouts.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Assist in the creation and implementation of package development and layouts for the Nerf brand and other Hasbro Action brands.

  • Design logos, iconography, patterns and packaging layouts

  • Create style guides and pitch decks to inspire and excite internal and external partners

  • Learn art direction over vendors with clear and concise briefs

  • Review designs from vendors and designers to ensure quality and brand consistency

  • Help drive towards achieving key delivery dates

  • Liaise with other internal creative brand peers to gain information and context for projects

  • Assist in and prep for photo shoots

  • Create packaging related presentation assets

  • Support eComm/digital asset creation

 

What You'll Bring:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited, degree-seeking program majoring in Graphic Design or Fine Arts or related degree with at least one quarter or semester left after August 2024.

  • Available to work full-time hours for 10 weeks in person at our Pawtucket, RI office location.

  • Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.

  • Knowledge of Mac OSX, Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and InDesign) and Microsoft Office

  • A desire to understand branding, creative development, and packaging

  • High level of creativity, passion and integrity

  • Organized and able to multi-task

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally, visually and in writing

  • Ability to work with team members in remote locations across the globe

  • Presentation skills
