We are seeking to add a Logistics Analyst to play an integral role in our Global Inbound Transportation team. This role is responsible for supporting the Global Logistics Senior Analyst through execution of daily operations related to ocean and airfreight. We are looking for someone with a keen ability to analyze information and make recommendations by contributing ideas internally and externally while troubleshooting a wide range of issues.

 

Location: This role will be based out of the Pawtucket, RI office 
 

A day in the life of a Logistics Analyst:

  • Analyze logistics data to identify trends, recommending improvements for efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Ensure timely decisions are made for issues requiring immediate attention; use internal/external partner insights and data to guide decisions.
  • Track and analyze bunker rates (ocean fuel), transit times and industry insights.
  • Support planning team on inquiries related to transit time and freight quoting.
  • Assist in standardizing processes and monitoring operational flow of goods.
  • Analyze and maintain contracted international transportation rates and routing to meet operational needs at optimal cost.
  • Manage transportation metrics and summarize results through daily, weekly and monthly reports to internal management and external providers.

 

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain, International Business or Business Administration.
  • 2+ years of supply chain experience is preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
  • Knowledge of logistics terminology and relevant data elements for reporting/analysis.
  • Comfortable communicating with a variety of employees and leaders at all levels.
  • Experience in Global logistics/Operations and familiarity with Power BI platform is a plus.
  • A highly motivated individual with strong interpersonal, organizational and project management skills as well as proven problem solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced work environment
  • Advanced analytical skills and attention to details.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to clearly convey relevant information to a broad spectrum of global audiences.

 

 

Compensation Range, Currency USD:

  • Starting Pay Range: $54,400
  • Pay Range End: $86,000
