Our Analytics, Insights and Measurements organization is looking to identify a new Manager of Global Consumer Insights (GCI) to the team. This leader should be an inclusive and strategic partner that will manage key brands within Hasbro's business portfolio.

Our organization is designed to drive data-driven decisions to support the sell-in and sell-through of our amazing products.

 

This Manager is expected to have broad capabilities across primary research, business analytics, syndicated analysis, and project management. The role requires this leader to develop research agendas, prioritize problems, recommend solutions, and maintain effective communications to stakeholders throughout project execution, including brand teams, designers, commercial teams, and retailers. A day in the life of a Manager GCI with Hasbro…

  • Lead as the voice of the consumer for your portfolio of brands, using consumer insights to influence brand strategy, product go/no-go decisions, demand forecasting, and investments in marketing and tooling
  • Develop milestone-driven insights agendas tied to strategic brand goals with measurable commercial outcomes
  • Prioritize business questions and requests for the business portfolio across audience, category, brand, product, creative, and commercial needs.
  • Implement research plans and projects that are a mix of strategic and tactical, integrating primary research, secondary/syndicated data, analytic outputs, and social intelligence
  • Design projects and analyses in partnership with vendors and data analytics colleagues.
  • Manage projects across all phases - study design, quantitative and qualitative instrument development, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Ensure effective communication of results.
  • Leverage and support our team’s ecosystem of vendors, tools and data sources that enable us to gracefully scale skills and capacity to meet partner needs.

 

What you’ll bring …

  • Bachelor's in marketing, social sciences, analytics, related subject area or equivalent experience. A master's degree or MBA a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in primary market research and analytics
  • Lifestyle brand or Consumer goods experience preferred.
  • Experience with toy/game/entertainment categories and/or kid and family consumers a plus.
  • Sophisticated, forward-thinking knowledge of market research techniques, both qualitative and quantitative, including sophisticated and emerging methods.
  • Proficient in solution design and mixed-method integration.
  • Ability to evaluate and reframe research briefs to enhance their business value.
  • Outstanding analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong ability to partner with marketing science/analytics teams, deploying advanced analytics methods as needed with their partnership.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Best-in-class ability to tell compelling stories with data and insights
  • Storytelling skills with ability to expertly use PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
