We are looking for a Finance Manager who will play a key role in managing the budget and forecast of the Global Commercial Organization (GCO). In this role, you will provide financial insight, analysis and recommendations to teams across the GCO, enabling them to fully understand and evaluate resources required to achieve their objectives. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of the team that leads all aspects of a large-scale budget (>$250M) at a multibillion-dollar company!

 

A day in the life as a Finance Manager:

  • Utilizing metrics, analyze spending to identify trends against budget and recommend corrective action to a defined group of cost center managers.
  • Be the first point of contact to assist business partners with guidance on financial management, problem solving, and analysis required to support the business.
  • Support the creation of tools to enable the business to better predict spending requirements and prioritize resources efficiently.
  • Actively seek opportunities for process improvement and refinement of data to continuously improve decision making ability of business partners.
  • Assist in the preparation of biannual Business Reviews presented to Sr. Management.
  • Assist in the coordination and preparation of annual cost center budgets.
  • Review, reconcile, and submit budgets and forecasts to Corporate Finance.

What you'll bring:

  • 7+ years of related financial business planning and analysis. Experience in a consumer related product development or retail environment preferred.
  • B.S. in Accounting, Finance, or related business degree. MBA or CPA equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functionally and globally to gather, synthesize, and disseminate financial data and recommendations.
  • "Problem solver" mentality who can recommend system and process improvements.
  • High comfort level with working in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and pay close attention to details.
  • Advanced Excel skills required. Experience with large-scale accounting systems and other data management applications including Power BI (Power Query and DAX Formulas), SAP and/or Business Objects a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and project management skills.
