We are seeking to hire a Manager, Global Investigations to play an integral role in our Global Security Organization! This Individual contributor role will oversee global investigative measures, including product/asset security, intellectual property, threats, and issues of general employee malfeasance. This role will support the Senior Manager, Global Security Compliance and will ensure that industry and generally accepted security practices are implemented in accordance with established Hasbro security policies as well as the development and implementation of newly identified global security compliance initiatives.

 

The position will be based out of Pawtucket, RI.

 

A day in the life of a Manager, Global Investigations:

 

  • Conduct global investigations and provide investigative analysis and reports on all incidents/allegations including intellectual property leaks, supply chain security incidents and cargo theft (international and domestic), internal/external theft and all other miscellaneous incidents requiring investigation.
  • Drive the global establishment of the investigative function through definition of roles and responsibilities, cross-functional collaboration, and the implementation of governance initiatives.
  • Coordinate appropriate investigation resources from business units, external resources, and functions to conduct complex investigations comprising approximately 250+ cases annually.
  • Initiate and track investigations, losses and monitor critical KPI’s to provide corrective actions including documented findings, policy and procedure development and implementation of corrective action plans for regular reporting to senior leadership. Ensure postmortem investigative recommendations are fully communicated and implemented.
  • Maintain a standardized incident case management system (Resolver) to track all investigative analysis, details, statistics, etc.
  • Coordinate the collection of internal loss data, investigative postmortem analysis, external industry information, internal Key Risk Indicator metrics, etc. to create heat maps on risks from fraud and crime.
  • Develop and maintain strong contacts with industry, regulatory and law enforcement personnel responsible for enforcement and oversight.
  • Provide regular investigative risk assessments, analysis, and recommendations.
  • Assist the Director, Global Security in leading Corporate Security efforts in support of personnel protection measures implementation, including pre-employment screening and background check processes, active shooter preparedness and training, travel risk management and executive protection.
  • Assist in the development of incident management policy, plans and crisis simulation exercises designed to enhance the response to major threats or events.
  • Assist and document counterfeit investigations for Global Legal IP Enforcement when applicable.
  • Assist and document IT incidents involving asset loss, intellectual property data leaks or system intrusions for IT Security when applicable.
  • Assist and provide recommendations to Corporate Legal regarding threats, harassment of employees, executives, and the Company in general. Assist in Code of Conduct violation investigations as requested.
  • Responsible for providing security management coverage for Hasbro Global Special Events including global sales meetings, toy fairs and trade shows, the Annual Shareholder Meeting, VIP events/screenings and all other related duties as assigned.

 

What you’ll bring:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, business administration or related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years’ management experience with a deep understanding of all aspects of investigations including experience in areas of general fraud and theft, intellectual property, online services, and online investigations. Online investigations are absolutely required.
  • Possess general knowledge of IP related licensor relationships and regulatory acts such as US Patriot Act, Sarbanes-Oxley, Fair Credit Reporting Act and EU General Data Protection Regulation "preferred" 
  • Law enforcement or intelligence agency experience preferred.
