Are you an experienced Paralegal who is inquisitive by nature and enjoys learning new things? We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join Hasbro's Global Legal Compliance and Litigation practice. The Litigation Paralegal will play a lead role in handling our global litigation and claims matters. They will assist with case intake, subpoena responses, e-discovery, legal holds, legal research, consumer claims and insurance claim management, along with implementing and updating compliance-related policies and trainings.

Collaboration is a key component of this position. This Paralegal will work with the broader team to find creative solutions to critical business needs. This role will require work with colleagues around the globe and on occasion, may require flexible work hours early or late to accommodate time zone differences. This is a hybrid role and you will typically work 2 to 3 days/week in our Pawtucket, RI office.

A day in the life as a Litigation Paralegal:

• Handle Hasbro’s global litigation docket by maintaining a tracker of active matters, updating stakeholders on a regular basis, and assisting with litigation reporting to the executive leadership team, board of directors, and outside auditors.
• Day-to-day management of global litigation matters, including complex cases involving significant discovery needs, regulatory inquiries and investigations, and third-party subpoenas.
• Draft, communicate and track legal holds and assist in the budgeting process for litigation matters, including working directly with external counsel to set and review budgets and perform first level review of outside legal spend.
• Responsible for team legal research projects primarily using Westlaw and other publicly available resources.
• Engage with Hasbro’s Consumer Care and Quality Assurance teams to address consumer issues by directly contacting consumers, serving as the intake point for documents and records, and resolving consumer concerns where appropriate.
• Work closely with Hasbro’s Risk Management team and be responsible for insurance claim management.
• With the Global Legal Compliance team, create and implement policies and trainings to facilitate Hasbro’s compliance goals.

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years-experience as a Litigation Paralegal. Experience at a mid-size or larger law firm preferred.
• A great teammate with demonstrated ability to prioritize substantial and diverse workload and complete projects within deadlines.
• Ability to handle a full range of litigation-related activities, including subpoena responses, discovery responses, settlement agreement drafting and review, and management of outside counsel spend.
• Strong interpersonal skills needed to handle consumer claims, which may include direct communications with consumers and outside insurers.
• Effective analytical skills with the ability to review and organize numerous documents in complex legal matters. Attention to detail is a must!
• Ability to be forward-looking and to develop new processes or adjust existing processes, as needed.
• Experience creating and managing large collections of documents and data, particularly using O365 applications including Teams and Sharepoint as well as experience with e-discovery tools.
