We are looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst in the Licensed Consumer Products organization. This person will provide high quality financial analysis, support financial planning, and summarize results to the LCP business team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to propel their finance career at Hasbro while working closely with a sales organization in a global business and in a dynamic environment!


Responsibilities include the handling of the global planning tool during forecasts/budgets, collaborating with LCP Category Managers to review licensee accounts including revenue booking, royalty reporting performance, status of minimum guarantees and other P&L matters. This role reports to the Director of Business Analysis who manages the financial partnership to the LCP AMPAC business (Americas & Pacific) and other Global LCP functions.  This position is HYBRID - Remote.


A day in the life as a Sr. Financial Analyst:

  • Responsibility to coordinate each financial cycle (actuals, forecasts, budgets) and tracking progress of quarterly results for the North America and Pacific regions and global US-based accounts. Accountability for all the elements related to transactional activity and financial performance at the contract/brand/category level.
  • Analyze licensee aging of receivables, contractual terms & conditions and estimate financial impacts of business decisions
  • Analyze year-to-date expenses for US-based departments, review spend against budget, and identify actions for the go-forward.
  • Build, maintain and utilize large data sets in Excel and LCP systems. Responsibility to handle data updates, troubleshoot and review functionality of LCP systems prior to each financial planning event.
  • Support the consolidation of financial results for the AMPAC super region and for Global LCP functions (Toy, Publishing, Promotions)
  • Develop and implement tools, new processes and procedures to best address the needs of Licensees/Category Managers as well as facilitates interactions within FP&A and Shared Services teams.
  • Build finance-related summaries, KPI dashboards and support preparation of business presentations or ad hoc requests.


What you'll bring:

  • 5+ years of related financial planning and analysis experience in consumer products, retail, licensing or entertainment environment preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or related business degree.
  • High comfortable level with working in fast-paced environments and ability to pivot to meet the organization's needs.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, coordinate and pay close attention to details while handling multiple tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to providing support to others within business and the finance teams across geographies.
  • High proficiency in MS Excel is required, with ability to organize and update large sets of data and troubleshoot when necessary. Advanced Excel formulas, macros, power pivots or BI a plus.
  • Experience with large-scale accounting systems and other data management applications; SAP, Longview, Rights Management Systems a plus.
