We have an opportunity for a Sr Financial Systems Administrator to join our team! This role will be administering our new Rights Management System that directly supports the Licensed Consumer Products and Digital Licensing Businesses as well as related partners in Legal, Royalty Accounting, Shared Services, FP&A, Audit, and Tax.  You will be collecting, analyzing, tracking, and reporting data that will help drive our global licensing businesses. A day in the life:

  • Responsible for data and business process governance, including recommending improvements in process, analytics enhancements and leading communication to required teams
  • Act as ‘Super User’ and subject matter expert in the IPM application, which shall include internal training, troubleshooting, attending/leading meetings to brainstorm and implement plans for improved business practices. Further, help lead future road map enhancements, user acceptance testing, and training for new system versions.
  • Setup and maintain master data for rights tree per direction of governance leadership team that will include Legal, FP&A, Royalty Accounting, and Creative Development members
  • Responsible for identifying RMS users’ needs for reporting and assist in the creation of such reports
  • Responsible for user management of internal and external users (including portal access)
  • Business partner within the Deal Proposal process, including advising on Rights and Availability reporting to the Category Teams, working with Legal to confirm rights
  • Responsible for assisting in Business Continuity between Rights Out and Rights In
  • Proactively maintain regular engagement with all partners including Category Management, Legal, FP&A, and Royalty Accounting to ensure common processes are developed and followed
  • Act as the liaison between the Business and IT, understanding both the business needs and IT resources to suggest viable solutions.
  • Ownership of IPM System training and user guides
  • Handles technical issues for RMS, operating as tier 1 support and facilitating concerns to technical teams and vendors as needed
  • Raise up to necessary team members reporting, dashboard, and analytics issues


What you will bring:

  • Computer savvy individual who possesses knowledge and expertise in database systems; preferred experience with a leading rights management system e.g. Fadel IPM or enterprise management system; e.g. SAP as well as Microsoft suite; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Sharepoint
  • Experience (5 years+) working in enterprise system administration or within an Operations role; preferred within a consumer products company
  • Understanding of licensing contracts, from rights availability, royalty reporting requirements, and downstream use of actuals by the business
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Computer Science/MIS degree, or relevant field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to plan work efforts to meet business system requests
