Our Analytics, Insights and Measurements organization (AIM) is searching for Senior Manager, Consumer Direct Analytics!


A day in the life working with AIM...

Act as the architect of analytics for Hasbro’s direct-to-consumer offering, which is working toward a goal of being a $1B business in the coming years.


Direct to Consumer (DTC) is a new channel for Hasbro and its analytics capabilities are up-and-coming, so you will have a chance to create significant decisions and contributions that shape our understanding as well as the success.


You will be responsible for making the DTC group data-driven while empowering them to ask and answer rigorous questions that guide decisions. You will achieve this by:

  • Curating data products that package ecommerce information, site and mobile app instrumentation, and advertising performance into forms that are accessible, reliable, and easy to understand
  • Propagating techniques for consuming that data and answering basic questions, for example through dashboards, notebooks, or direct query
  • Examining the performance of the business using quantitative, statistical, and machine-learning methods, producing discrete analyses that guide business decisions
  • Manipulate order information from Shopify using SQL to join, aggregate, and filter it into readily available forms for display; document the semantics of the data to make its meaning plain
  • Provide the DTC marketing team with seamlessly attributed performance data, and guide them to advertise efficiently.
  • Devise measures of the effectiveness of merchandising tactics and site layout by analyzing sales and customer interaction data and performing experiments in the wild.
  • Supervise and analyze customer reviews and engagement at scale and by quantitative means, deploying tools that allow the team to understand and address customer problems with alacrity.
  • Listening to the business to identify the analytics capabilities needed to operate and grow the business.
  • Specifying work for and collaborating with engineers to capture the relevant data and implement required technological capabilities
  • Partnering with Consumer Insights to combine quantitative survey results and social intelligence with analytics to gain a deep understanding of our customer.
  • Assessing and engaging with vendors and outsourcers to expand the capacity of DTC analytics achieve your ends
  • Lead business reviews with meaningful insights into the drivers and barriers of business growth and act as a strategic partner to the DTC team in developing a response.

What you’ll bring...

  • Minimum 5 years experience in CPG managing analytics for a direct-to-consumer channel, ideally in a fashion category
  • Intermediate SQL in any dialect; beginning Python for analytics
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, Looker
  • Familiarity with one or more of: Shopify+, Salesforce Commerce Cloud
  • Understanding of the mechanics of site- and media- tracking that underpin tools like Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of experimental setup and statistical techniques for measuring effectiveness of marketing, sales, and merchandising
  • Experience and comfort at presenting analytical findings at the executive level
