The right candidate should have solid track record of building entertainment based, tech forward products for kids age 18m-5y. This candidate should also be able to demonstrate the ability to drive innovation and own the user experience for an entire range of products.<br/><br/>Responsibilities include:<br/><br/>- Working closely with cross functional team to make products come to life<br/>- Serving as the go-to person for design solutions and great game play<br/>- Giving and accepting critique in a constructive manner<br/>- Producing and updating comprehensive design specs and misc documentation in a timely manner<br/>- Value engineering to cost targets while maintaining innovative product qualities<br/>- Observe & analyze user testing, and adapt design based on findings<br/>- Understand and contribute to overall brand team design vision<br/><br/>Required Skills & Experience<br/><br/>- 3-8 years of toy, game, or entertainment design experience with a focus on the way preschool aged children play and learn<br/>- Tech savvy, curious tinkerer/inventor with a proficient knowledge of current social and technical trends including convergent play<br/>- Innovative, divergent thinker with the ability to ideate many solutions for any given creative challenge<br/>- Ability to effectively communicate ideas both verbally and visually<br/>- Strong working knowledge of mass production materials, processes, and costs<br/>- Ability to work within time constraints and hit cost targets<br/>- Desire and aptitude to adapt quickly to a rapidly changing, fast-paced, collaborative creative environment<br/>- Personality to handle multiple responsibilities, collaborate and excel in small team environment<br/>- Disciplined , self-managed and self-motivated with a strong work ethic<br/>- High integrity, strong organization skills<br/><br/>Technical Skills:<br/><br/>- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop,& Rhino (or equivalent 3D software)<br/>- Strong mechanical aptitude<br/>- Creative writing ability<br/>- Scripting and prototyping experience<br/><br/>Portfolio: A Portfolio must be submitted in order to be considered for this position<br/><br/>About Hasbro<br/><br/>Hasbro, Inc.
