About the Role 

As a Global Events Intern, you will support the coordination and execution of Hasbro’s global events, promotional initiatives, and brand marketing programs. This role sits within Hasbro’s Communications organization, which is responsible for crafting how our brands connect with fans, partners, media, and the broader global community. 

This opportunity fits someone interested in event management, immersive marketing, communications, or brand storytelling. You’ll work closely with cross-functional partners and gain exposure to how large-scale, brand-facing events come to life — from early planning through execution and concluding event activities. 

The Internship Experience 

Hasbro’s Summer Internship Program offers a behind-the-scenes look at how a global play and entertainment company operates- paired with the opportunity to make a real impact.  

Interns are fully embedded on their teams and trusted to own meaningful business projects aligned to team priorities. Throughout the summer, you’ll contribute to work that matters while also being part of a broader global intern cohort, gaining exposure to professional development sessions, networking opportunities, and leadership engagement designed to support your growth and learning. 

What You’ll Do as a Global Events Intern: 

Event Planning & Execution 

  • Support the planning and coordination of global events, brand activations, and experiential programs 

  • Assist with event logistics, timelines, and task tracking to help ensure projects stay on schedule 

  • Assist with on-site event preparation and post-event wrap-up, including documentation, feedback collection, and recap summaries 

Cross-Functional & Vendor Collaboration 

  • Partner with colleagues across Communications, Brand, Marketing, Creative, and external vendors to support cohesive event storytelling and execution 

  • Help manage vendor communications, including tracking deliverables, deadlines, and approvals 

Content, Materials & Storytelling 

  • Help prepare materials for internal and external stakeholders, including presentations, briefs, agendas, and run-of-show documents 

  • Bring forward creative ideas or inspiration decks to spark team discussion 

Research, Insights & Reporting 

  • Conduct research on venues, vendors, event trends, and best practices to support planning efforts 

  • Track event metrics such as attendance, engagement, or feedback survey results 

  • Support creation of post-event reports and insights to inform future planning 

Process, Operations & Budget Support 

  • Help maintain shared project trackers, calendars, and documentation repositories 

  • Contribute to refining internal templates, checklists, or best practices for events 

  • Support basic budget tracking, invoice reconciliation, or purchase order documentation (with guidance) 

  • Provide general administrative and coordination support to the Global Events team as needed 

Learning & Professional Development 

  • Shadow team members during planning meetings, site visits, or rehearsals to gain exposure to different roles 

  • Participate in post-event debriefs to understand decision-making and outcomes 

What You’ll Bring (Required Qualifications /Skills/Competencies) 

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate degree program with at least one semester or quarter remaining after August 2026 

  • Available to work full-time at our Pawtucket, RI location for the duration of the internship 

  • Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer 

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills 

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment 

  • Curiosity about events, experiential promotion, messaging, or brand activations ions 

  • A positive, proactive mindset and willingness to learn 

  • Comfortable working collaboratively while also taking initiative when appropriate 

Nice to Have (Not Required): 

  • Experience supporting events, campus programming, or student organizations 

  • Familiarity with basic project management tools, content creation tools, or presentation software 

By the end of the program, interns leave with tangible accomplishments, a clear understanding of how their work creates value, and meaningful exposure to what a full-time, entry-level role at Hasbro could look like, positioning them well for potential future opportunities. 

Program Details 

  • Interview Timeline: February – April 

  • Summer Internship Program Dates (adjust accordingly for Co-op): 

  • Start: Early June (target June 8) 

  • End: Late August (target August 21) 

  • Commitment: Full-time (40 hours/week) 

  • Compensation:  

  • Rates vary based on year in school, degree program, and office location  

  • Final rates communicated during offer process 

  • Location: Internship locations vary by role and team. This opportunity will take place in Pawtucket, RI

The hourly rate for this position is $30.00 to $36.00. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
