2026 Sales Operations (Power BI) Intern
The Data Visualization & Analytics Intern - Commercial Analytics plays a critical role in transforming commercial data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. This position qualifies as a specialty occupation due to the required application of advanced technical skills across business intelligence platforms, legacy system integration, automated dashboard development, and cross-functional data modeling. The Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders across the Commercial organization to develop and maintain sophisticated reporting tools and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What you Will do as a Sales Operations Intern:
- Design, build, and maintain automated dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI, Power Query, and Excel.
- Modernize legacy Excel macro-based reports by migrating them to scalable, dynamic Power BI solutions.
- Integrate and model data from multiple complex systems and data sources.
- Develop custom DAX calculations and Power Query M transformations to support advanced business logic and cross-system integration.
- Maintain dashboards, KPIs, Availability and feasibility trackers.
- Support data validation and input integrity in collaboration with Commercial team members for ongoing tools.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver ad hoc analytics and ensure data accuracy for business-critical initiatives.
- Assist the VP of Planning & Operations on specialized analysis tasks, including data entry, system clean-up, and legacy system transitions.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive processes and implement solutions to streamline commercial reporting infrastructure.
What You Will Bring (Required qualifications, skills, competencies)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Engineering, or a closely related field.
- 2+ years of experience (including internship or academic project work) in a data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VBA/macros, pivot tables, dynamic formulas, and data modeling.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI and Power Query, including M language and DAX for advanced data transformation and calculations.
- Experience working with Databricks for data querying. preparation, and analytical support
- Proven ability to consolidate and normalize data from multiple complex systems to create unified, automated dashboards.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into structured, scalable analytics tools in a commercial or retail environment.
- Strong attention to detail, process accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and collaborate cross-functionally in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment
- Experience working in consumer goods, retail, or commercial planning functions.
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, or R for data preparation and light automation.
- Experience assisting with cross-functional system transitions or modernization efforts.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to visualize and explain complex data outputs to non-technical users.
By the end of the program, interns leave with tangible accomplishments, a clear understanding of how their work creates value, and meaningful exposure to what a full-time, entry-level role at Hasbro could look like, positioning them well for potential future opportunities.

- Summer Internship Program Dates (adjust accordingly for Co-op):
- Start: Early June (target June 8)
- End: Late August (target August 21)
- Commitment: Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Compensation:
- Rates vary based on year in school, degree program, and office location
- Final rates communicated during offer process
- Location: This internship will take place in our Pawtucket, RI location.
