2026 Trade Merchandising Intern
Every day, you’ll be working with passionate and creative marketers, designers, and salespeople. You'll help to manage and execute merchandising projects to drive in-store sales and enhance the shopper experience. In this exciting role, you will be collaborating with various internal Hasbro departments, as well as external display vendor partners, to ensure projects are designed from inception to completion, meet required financial guardrails, and hit critical timelines to support retailer programs. Successful candidates are proactive, energetic, collaborative, adaptable, flexible, creative, analytical, strategic and decisive.

Interns are fully embedded on their teams and trusted to own meaningful business projects aligned to team priorities. Throughout the summer, you’ll contribute to work that matters while also being part of a broader global intern cohort, gaining exposure to professional development sessions, networking opportunities, and leadership engagement designed to support your growth and learning.
What You Will do as a Trade Merchandising Intern
· Own end-to-end display project management from kickoff through in-market execution.
· Maintain Trade Merchandising databases and budgets, ensuring accuracy and alignment.
· Collaborate cross-functionally to develop innovative, cost-effective retail merchandising solutions.
· Proactively resolve issues to keep out-of-aisle merchandising projects on schedule.
· Lead weekly project calls with internal teams and external vendors to drive deliverables.
· Operate with a results-driven, detail-oriented mindset in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
· Bring high energy and a hands-on approach to supporting Hasbro’s retail display portfolio.
What You Will Bring (Required qaulifications/skills/competencies):
· Shopper centric: able to get into the mind of shoppers and make recommendations that guide conversion
· Digitally savvy: shopper marketing, design, retail
· Presentation skills: can deliver complex information in a compelling way, uses story to persuade audience; captures interest, engages audience, uses supporting points to influence.
· Data analysis: can make sense of quantitative and qualitative information affecting a project; proficiency in excel a must-have.
· Collaborative: able to work with, get information/help from internal partners e.g. cross-functional development team, regional marketers, finance, legal.
· Creatively driven: showcases creative thinking and strategic problem solving.
· Passionately curious: open to asking questions and learning through this experience.
By the end of the program, interns leave with tangible accomplishments, a clear understanding of how their work creates value, and meaningful exposure to what a full-time, entry-level role at Hasbro could look like, positioning them well for potential future opportunities.
Program Details
- Interview Timeline: February – April
- Summer Internship Program Dates (adjust accordingly for Co-op):
- Start: Early June (target June 8)
- End: Late August (target August 21)
- Commitment: Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Compensation:
- Rates vary based on year in school, degree program, and office location
- Final rates communicated during offer process
- Location: This internship will take place in our Pawtucket, RI office.
