Hasbro's Analytics, Insights and Measurement (AIM) group is adding a Principal Solutions Analyst, AIM Solutions Engineering to their team.
We are searching for Principal Solutions Analyst to join our growing Analytics, Insights, and Measurement team! The Solutions Engineering team at Hasbro is responsible for the data products deployed globally across domains such as Commercial, Finance, Digital Games and Product Development. As we continue to grow our existing capabilities and lean in to deploy new ones, we are looking for a capable leader to deliver solutions that inform business decisions.
The focus for this role will be to dive quickly into the current state for the business team, collecting an understanding of both the data and the need. The Principal Solutions Analyst will be the central person between business partners, Tech Analytics, and the off-shore development team helping to translate business need into scalable solutions. A day in the life as a Principal Solutions Analyst, AIM Solutions Engineering
You will:
- Work as a track leader overseeing the execution and delivery or data and solutions for a specific business function
- Lead junior solutions engineers to ensure relevant data is properly cataloged and projects are prioritized and executed according to the necessary timeline
- Prepare recommendations for our global partners on solution implementation; translate into clearly articulated technical specifications documents
- Define reporting standards and enforce the development of solutions per these standards
- Write and communicate results for business partners; acquire feedback regarding user experience
- Standardize and govern the development of technology systems that support business partner data and analytical needs (including components like interactive dashboards, visualizations, data blending and transformation routines)
- Effectively manage relationships with internal partners and outside vendors to implement rigor around data ingestion and data delivery
What you’ll bring
- Strong management skills, with the ability to act as an individual contributor along-side the team when necessary
- Ability to consolidate data needs and propose recommendations to business partners on ways to best leverage the data
- Demonstrated willingness to leverage AI to improve speed to execution as well as delivery of data
- Proven knowledge of sourcing, cleaning, and analyzing complex data sets that link data from a variety of sources
- Experience with interviewing business to collect requirements, formulate and define system scope and objectives
- Ability to identify tools and vendor partners who can help the team drive business value for Hasbro
- Ability to communicate with various levels within the organization (primarily across AIM)
Education and Experience Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in Analytics, consulting, or a related data/quantitative field
- B.S. or equivalent in a quantitative field (e.g., comp sci, engineering, economics)
- Significant experience and proficiency with BI and Data Visualization (Power BI preferred)
- Intermediate SQL skills, ability to craft queries as well as make data structure recommendations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills – experience working with business partners and senior leaders; as well as leading resources (off-shore a plus)
- Proficiency with Excel and advanced excel features a plus
- Experience with one or more scripting languages (Python preferred)

The base salary range for this position is $121,700.00 to $182,500.00. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
