This role is responsible for the supply chain process of allocating goods to our customers across key accounts. The Allocation Planning Analyst will have ownership and autonomy to manage approximately $300m of brands. The Analyst will work with US marketing and management to understand the brand trajectories, and programs for the current and subsequent year. Build monthly allocation plans at all distribution levels for each item within the portfolio. In addition, they will partner with Inventory &amp; Central Planning to understand our supply vs retail need and manage the flow and allocation of product. Planning Analyst must understand and consider retailer set needs, promotional plans, POS, and out of aisle requirements and work with management to resolve conflicts as required. This execution by this team has a direct impact to customer in stock rates and has a +10% impact to revenue generation based on the equitable distribution on product to our retail partners. </span></span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0px"><strong><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic',sans-serif">Key Responsibilities:</span></strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic',sans-serif">40% Develop &amp; Execute a Four Month Flow Plan: Guide and direct the distribution process. The decisions for developing the flow plan are based primarily on thorough and continuous analysis of the following factors: Field forecasts, determination of LC vs. Domestic needs, Ad requirements and promotions, Just in time weekly replenishment orders, POS and weeks of supply, Version management, Historical fair share of category and percent of corporate volume </span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic',sans-serif">20% Establish clear, concise, and timely communication with members of the HFE Planning Teams on all critical and allocated items. This includes issuing Allocation decks on a monthly basis (4 months out) as well as regular communication throughout the month to make flow adjustments when/if necessary. Develop a weekly ship plan on all critically allocated items. </span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic',sans-serif">15% Identify and establish merchandise requirements for the spring and fall season retail plan-o-grams. Recommendations to the listing are made based on product availability as well as fly recommendations to upper management for late items. </span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic',sans-serif">10% Advertising and Special Promotions - It is the responsibility of the planner to approve, modify, or decline the promotion based on availability of product. Corporate flow plans are modified to accommodate customer requests and recommend additional product commitments where necessary. Follow up with Account Support to ensure orders are received and shipped as requested.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic',sans-serif">5% Pre-Orders, Early Market Launches: Work with Retail Marketing to coordinate needs. Figure out quantities will be needed to support the program. Communicate with Sales the orders required to achieve a successful test launch. Handle the flow of product into the appropriate markets</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic',sans-serif">5% Media Support: Ensure Hasbro&rsquo;s advertising efforts will be supported with national distribution of featured product for new launches as well as ongoing media flights. This is achieved by partnering with Marketing, Sales and Central Planning.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic',sans-serif">5% Retail Assortment/Version Management: Items within Hasbro&rsquo;s product line often consist of various assortments each assigned its own suffix number.
