Hasbro’s US Regional Marketing Team has a need for a results-oriented, innovative, and analytical marketer to lead key initiatives and strategic execution of marketing plans within the Sports Action Portfolio, on the Nerf brand.


A Day in the Life of an Associate Brand Manager, Nerf:

We are seeking a strong Marketer with a great attitude who is capable of…

  • Driving profitable growth for Nerf portfolio by developing go-to-market brand and retail strategies to optimize brand performance in the US.
  • Analyzing point-of-sale and competitive data to understand the trends of the business and provide sound rationale for shipment forecasts and future program recommendations.
  • Balancing and prioritizing multiple different day-to-day demands, as well as department wide deliverables, ensuring they are completed in a timely manner.
  • Assisting on the development of annual marketing plans around new product lines to drive revenue and secure strong placement at Retail.
  • Partnering with the Hasbro Customer Marketing and Sales teams in the development of annual trade/promotional opportunities to drive consumer demand, retailer engagement and maximize retail sales.
  • Managing multiple segments within the Nerf portfolio to drive profitable growth YoY, including leading strategic retail pricing recommendations and item level forecasting for products within the portfolio.
  • Partnering and collaborating with and providing strategic retail input to the Hasbro Global Consumer & Innovation Organization on product development needs as it relates to the current/future retail environments, Account exclusives, regional financial goals and the commercialization of the Nerf and Super Soaker product lines in the US Market.


What you'll bring:

  • Minimum of 3 years of dynamic brand/strategy or marketing experience in forward thinking consumer-focused organization.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field.
  • MBA strongly preferred, but not required.

Functional experience and/or knowledge will include:

  • Proven track record of executing a brand marketing plan grounded in insights and analysis in a fast-paced organization.
  • Ability to transform strategy and vision into impactful, executable plans within the organization with a sense of urgency.
  • Strong communication and persuasive interpersonal skills to collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams effectively.
  • The ability to seamlessly adapt to changing environments and to make informed recommendations to keep performance on track.
  • Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Strong project management abilities; capable of prioritizing and balancing multiple projects simultaneously, under tight time constraints and within budget parameters.
