Associate Brand Manager, US Marketing

Hasbro’s US Regional Marketing Team has a need for a results-oriented, innovative, and analytical marketer to lead key initiatives and strategic execution of marketing plans within the Preschool portfolio, on the Play-Doh brand.

 

A Day in the Life of an Associate Brand Manager:

We need someone who enjoys:

  • Managing an overall P&L, including making recommendations on pricing and marketing spend, for assigned brand(s) based on brand revenue and profit goals
  • Driving executional excellence by prioritizing day-to-day demands, in addition to larger projects, ensuring they are completed in a timely manner while meeting or exceeding expectations
  • Assisting on the development of annual marketing plans around new product lines to drive revenue
  • Analyzing point-of-sale data to understand the trends of the business and provide sound rationale for shipment forecasts, and for analyzing future program recommendations  
  • Partnering with the Hasbro Customer Marketing and Sales teams in the development of annual trade/promotional opportunities to drive consumer demand, retailer engagement and maximize retail sales
  • Partnering with and providing strategic input to the Hasbro Global Consumer & Innovation Team on product development needs as related to Account Exclusives, regional financial goals and the commercialization of the Play-Doh product in the US market

 

What You'll Bring:

  • Minimum 3 years of dynamic brand/strategy or marketing experience in forward thinking consumer-focused organization
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field
  • MBA strongly preferred
  • Consistent record of transforming a strategy and vision into impactful plans in an organization
  • Expertise at executing marketing plans with excellence, creativity, and a sense of urgency
  • Proven track record of executing a brand marketing plan grounded in detail analysis and current strategies in a rapidly changing organization.
  • Persuasive interpersonal skills to collaborate with and influence effectively cross-functional teams
  • The talent to seamlessly adapt to changing environments
  • Ability to make informed decisions and seek input quickly to keep performance on track
  • Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Strong project management abilities; capable of prioritizing and balancing multiple projects simultaneously, under tight time constraints and within budget parameters
  • Ability to build strong, lasting relationship across the organization
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
