About the Internship Program:

 

Over the course of 10 weeks, a select group of college and university students will join us, gaining valuable work experiences and insights into our Supply Chain. Interns engage with our core operations, gaining meaningful work-experience through day-to-day training, hands-on projects, executive exposure, individual development planning and mentorship.   • Our program runs between June 10 - August 16, 2024.

We are in need of a Logistics Sourcing Analyst who will act as the focal point for our contract management efforts across the globe. You will also partner with our North America freight payment lead and external partner to improve our freight payment processes.

 

What You'll Do:

 

Contract Management:

  • Work with regional leads in Canada, Europe, Asia, Pacific and Latin America to gather, organize, store and catalog logistics contracts for the respective regions.

  • Improve upon/modernize existing Excel catalog.

  • Collaborate with functional leads to develop contract summary template(s) for outlining key terms in a 1-2 page view.

 

Freight Payment:

  • Manage FedEx parcel invoice rejects by correcting associated GL accounts.

  • Engage with third party freight payment service provider to identify and implement process improvements that will help Hasbro better account for and reduce parcel spend.

  • Research root causes and implement corrective actions related to less-than-truckload (LTL) weight and freight class discrepancies.

 

What You'll Bring:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited, degree-seeking program majoring in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related degree with at least one quarter or semester left after August 2024.

  • Available for full-time work for 10 weeks; open to in-person or remote candidates.

  • Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.

  • Eagerness to work across geographies, cultures, and time zones.

  • Ability to work autonomously with multiple internal and external customers.

 

Nice to Have:

  • Ability to read and understand Spanish and/or Portuguese.

  • Relevant Supply Chain or business internships experience preferred.
