The Logistics Manager is responsible for leading supply chain activities associated with the support of Customer orders and Compliance, Transportation planning, Trade Marketing, Rework, Services and Return Materials projects and initiatives. This role is the orchestrator between several of Hasbro’s internal departments and across approximately 20 vendors and multiple external partners such as warehouses and carriers.

A Day in the Life of a Logistics Manager

  • Review and drive process improvements with key partners by identifying root causes and opportunities through compliance reporting.
  • Develop metrics around account success, operational success and business success including: warehouse order management and timing, Month End/Quarter End risks, Vendor Projections and Value Service request/impacts.
  • Lead and provide oversight on Planning process for both Vendor Projects and regular Sales orders, which includes but not limited to Process sales orders (good toy/prepaid, closeout/collect, and Canada/HLA exports) from SAP ERP and utilize Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) to build shipments for all four Hasbro 3PL warehouses in the USA. (Ryder will be responsible for optimization during Phase II but will require oversight and guidance).
  • Develop and maintain relationships with strategic oversight of internal/external partners. Support and standardize processes while providing reliable, responsive and cost-efficient programs supporting Hasbro’s U.S. commercial business efforts.
  • Actively engage and consult with the Director of Logistics on initiatives; effectively identify and communicate strategic compliance gaps.
  • Solicit involvement of internal partners to become appropriate owners of process and systems modifications to improve planning, vendor projects and customer compliance operations.
  • Assist in audits of compliance guidelines and policies with internal counterparts, third party warehouses, label suppliers and factories to identify cost and time savings opportunities.
  • Report financial critical metrics based on current operational structure while identifying cost saving initiatives
  • Lead team efforts in developing potential leaders through actively coaching, training and mentoring direct reports through set goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate on initiatives to identify, pursue and document cost saving or operational improvement opportunities and initiatives internally and externally.
  • Lead activities associates with customer compliance requirements; find opportunities for continuous improvement to increase efficiency and reduce cost.
  • Build consensus and encourage innovation and continuous improvement to ensure appropriate prioritization, visibility and ongoing mentorship.
  • Implement environment based on shared learning on processes and systems.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain, International Business or Business Administration
  • Experience in logistics/operations
  • Solid understanding of SAP ERP, OTM, Smartsheet and Microsoft Office
  • Strong project management skills
