Flow Planning) is the central repository of information from Operations Planning, Logistics, Demand Planning, Marketing and Sales Management in order to dynamically manage a profitable, retail-based distribution plan. In this capacity the Manager must be able to assimilate multiple sources of information in order to make / or change product flow plan decisions. The Manager continuously reanalyzes flow plans to adjust for frequent variables, including variances to production, field forecasts, point of sale data and marketing efforts etc. The goal of the distribution flow plan is to establish the widest assortment of product, to the widest account base, taking into consideration account business plans, weeks of supply, percentage of business within a category and retail promotional plans.</font></p> <p style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0pt"><font color="#000000">&nbsp;</font></p> <p style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0pt"><b><font color="#000000">Primary Duties and Responsibilities of Job: </font></b></p> <p style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0pt"><font><font color="#000000">35%&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Develop Three Month Flow Plans: The flow plan guides and directs the distribution process.&nbsp; The decisions for developing the flow plan are based primarily on thorough and continuous analysis of the following factors: Field forecasts, determination of LC vs. Domestic needs, Ad requirements and promotions, Just in time weekly replenishment orders, POS and weeks of supply, Version management, Historical fair share of category and percent of corporate volume&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </font></font></p> <p style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0pt"><font color="#000000">20%&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Establish clear, concise, and timely communication with members of the Sales team, Global Planning and HFE Planning Teams on all critical and allocated items.&nbsp; This includes issuing Allocation decks on a monthly basis (4 months out) as well as regular communication throughout the month to make flow adjustments when/if necessary.&nbsp; Develop a weekly ship plan on all critically allocated items where required.&nbsp; Also involves working with our Global Planning team to insure we are working with the current build/capacity plan.</font></p> <p style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0pt"><font color="#000000">10%&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Identify and establish merchandise requirements for the spring and fall season retail plan-o-grams.&nbsp; Recommendations to the listing are made based on product availability as well as fly recommendations to upper management for late items. </font></p> <p style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0pt"><font color="#000000">15%&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Retail Assortment/Version Management: Items within Hasbro&rsquo;s product line often consist of various assortments each assigned its own suffix number. Suffix management is a crucial part of the business, which prevents back up at retail. </font></p> <p style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0pt"><font color="#000000">15%&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Advertising and Special Promotions - It is the responsibility of the planner to approve, modify, or decline the promotion based on availability of product. Corporate flow plans are modified to accommodate customer requests and recommend additional product commitments where necessary. Follow up with Customer Service to ensure orders are received and shipped as requested.</font></p> <p style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0pt"><font color="#000000">5%&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Pre-Orders &amp; Early Market Launches: Interface with US Marketing to coordinate all needs based on product availability.&nbsp; Determine what quantities will be needed to support the program. Communicate with Sales the orders required to achieve a successful test launch.
