Do you have a real passion for forecasting and planning? We are very excited to have an opportunity available for a Demand Planning Manager to join the Hasbro team! In this role you will provide subject matter expertise and work collaboratively to develop a Demand Planning center of excellence. 

  

We strive to continually be innovative and keep demand planning strategic vision current! We own the creation of cross-functional connections between product, demand plan, inventory plan, allocation plan, finance budget, marketing goal, and sales goal. Additionally, we own and maintain the POS forecast on a 12-18 month rolling basis with team members responsible for individual brands. 

  

This role reports to the Director of Demand Planning. At the beginning of every year, we collaborate to set goals, including process/reports improvements, and take end-to-end responsibilities on projects. You will lead the supply chain reconciliation process, challenge assumptions/status-quo as needed, influence cross-functional peers and continuously call out unresolved supply chain risks to senior management.

  

A Day in the Life of the Demand Planning Manager: 

  • Drive the cross-functional team to deliver the demand plan for an assigned set of customer/brands 

  • Collaborate with manager to advance demand planning methodologies and set strategic and tactical goals for the planning organization with a focus on analysis and execution - take ownership of identified issues in demand planning to drive quantifiable solutions and positive business results

  • Act as the voice of demand planning team in all cross-functional discussions within and outside of North America regional responsibility

  • Drive a culture of exception management by proactively identifying major issues and opportunities around demand and supply 

  • Lead monthly demand-supply reconciliation in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Inventory Planning, Global Planning, and Allocation Planning

  • Participate in forecast accuracy goal setting and be the active leader in forecast accuracy improvement 

  

What You'll Bring: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree 

  • Required 5-10 years’ experience in supply chain, specifically in demand, supply, and allocation planning for toy industry, retail, or comparable seasonal high SKU-count CPG industry such as fashion

  • Ability to thrive in a global, multi-cultural environment 

  • Ability to build cross functional positive relationships and facilitate consensus within and across work teams

  • Strong working knowledge of effective supply chain performance, including customer service, supplier, and asset management

  • Passion for creating process and systems improvement

  • Skills in analysis, influencing, negotiation, communication and navigating a sophisticated global organization
