In this role, you will be supporting the merchandising organization at Hasbro that drives exceptional execution across retail partners both online and in retail stores.  This role reports into the Sr. Director of Omni-Channel Merchandising.

 

A Day in the Life of a Merchandising Coordinator

  • Work with finance to open, gain approval, process, and track purchase orders and vendor invoices for the department.
  • Lead the project kick-off process inputting relevant information into Hasbro systems that link to vendor partners.
  • Manage item set up documentation supporting in-store features and displays.
  • Create merchandising guides to support feature and display execution.
  • Maintain and manage the department-wide calendar, ensuring alignment with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and maintain department wide folders in the shared drive, ensuring documents are organized, accurate and up to date with the latest information.
  • Plan, manage and execute events in coordination with Trade Marketing.

 

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline (Business or Administration) with 3+ years' experience in managing administrative functions for a team.
  • Experience in managing projects from inception through completion.
  • Ability to work independently; a self-starter that has proven experience in taking charge and managing their deliverables.
  • Excellent time management skills; experience in simultaneously managing projects while meeting deliverable deadlines.
  • Assertive professional that has experience in solving problems.
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills – please share examples.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint and Excel)
