Hasbro’s US Regional Strategy & Marketing Team has an immediate need for a passionate, results-oriented, innovative marketer to lead key initiatives for the Games Portfolio. In this role you’ll lead iconic brands within the crucial Hasbro Games portfolio like Sorry!, Trouble, Operation and Guess Who?!  You’ll be part of a team of high visibility marketers responsible for the development and execution of forward-thinking brand strategy to achieve revenue and profitability targets for the portfolio.

 

In this role, you will have P&L responsibility for your brands, including establishing pricing, forecasts and marketing spend budget. You’ll build coordinated annual marketing plans around new product lines to drive consumer demand and revenue growth.  You’ll analyze point-of-sale data to understand the trends of the business and drive agile decision-making. You will also partner with internal and external cross-functional teams to develop and execute integrated consumer and retail programs ensuring executional excellence while managing brand programs on time and on budget.   

 

A day in the life of a Brand Marketing Manager - US Marketing:

You will serve as the primary interface between the US Marketing Organization and key internal & external stakeholders, including the Global Marketing Organization, Regional Sales teams and Customers, Category Management, Integrated Media Team, Operations, and Finance. You will be responsible for:

 

  • Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies to achieve financial targets.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of product priorities with overall business objectives, leading best in class partnerships across teams to deliver results.
  • Be tapped into brand POS performance, key trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape dynamics within the category.
  • Monitor market dynamics and consumer preferences to make data-driven decisions regarding portfolio adjustments and new product introductions.
  • Develop and execute range planning strategies to ensure the optimal assortment of products that meet consumer needs across the US and align with brand positioning.
  • Work closely with Sales, Category Management, Finance and Operations teams to develop assortment plans that drive revenue growth and maximize profitability.
  • Utilize insights from market analysis, consumer trends, and competitive intelligence to inform range planning decisions and identify whitespace opportunities.
  • Command of performance across the portfolio, with absolute clarity on drivers of growth & decline, upcoming risks and opportunities, and performance vs. plan.
  • Ability to share a narrative on the business to internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Utilize data analytics and insights to identify revenue growth opportunities and drive incremental sales through pricing, promotion and trade optimization.
  • Deliver impactful presentations on products to internal teams and external partners, including Retail Accounts across the US market.
  • Lead pricing strategy development for assigned brands, taking into account competitive pricing dynamics, value proposition, and market positioning.
  • Conduct pricing analysis and modeling to assess pricing elasticity, profitability impact, and pricing optimization opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Finance teams to implement pricing strategies that support revenue growth objectives while maintaining margin targets.

What you'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. MBA Preferred.
  • 6+ years of progressive Marketing experience in the Consumer Products Industry, preferably with a focus on toys or entertainment.
  • Storytelling & communication: Craft compelling narratives that effectively communicate insights, and the product value proposition & benefits to customers across various channels, including presentations and marketing collateral. Deliver impactful presentations to internal and external audiences.
  • Understanding of Trends (Sales/Shipments): Ability to analyze sales and shipment data to identify patterns, opportunities, and market trends.
  • Creative Problem Solver: Ability to think outside the box and find innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Ability to Connect the Dots: Skillful at identifying connections and patterns across diverse sets of information to gain holistic insights.
  • Can Simplify the Complex to Distilled, Actionable Recommendations: Ability to distill complex information into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations.
