They will contribute to the development of the business plan, providing input such as relevant customer and market information, sales and marketing strategies, vision, and goals. The Sales Manager will be the point of contact for customers at the Buyer level and will be responsible for the management of those customers.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>A day in the life of a Sales Manager, Specialty Channel:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Business Planning: <ul> <li>Develop and execute internal and customer-facing business plans with quarterly and annual sales targets.</li> <li>Achieve targeted objectives for revenue and profitability consistent with the annual business plan for brick and mortar and ecommerce.</li> <li>Identify and develop on an ongoing basis business building opportunities and gaps.</li> <li>Create and maintain accurate and on-time product forecasts.</li> <li>Lead and work effectively with cross functional teams to elevate the customers’ business internally and to secure resources needed to grow the business.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Business Reviews: <ul> <li>Continuously review internal sales performance vs. budget and goal.</li> <li>Plan and conduct business review meetings with customer to ensure customer is kept current on product line, features, and brand strategy.</li> <li>Attend, participate, and contribute to periodic internal marketing and sales reviews.</li> <li>Regularly analyze promotional, product, and brand results to determine the lift/ROI/effectiveness, and develop alternate recommendations as required.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Reporting: <ul> <li>Submission of timely customer ship and POS projections.</li> <li>Maintain and track customer Cost of Business reports, keeping within budget.</li> <li>Submit expense reports and manage expenses within budget.</li> </ul> </li> <li><a name="_Hlk507399023">Communication:</a> <ul> <li>Present to customers Hasbro sales strategies, initiatives, marketing and entertainment updates, etc. to ensure sales and brand objectives are achieved.</li> <li>Communicate all pricing and product/brand updates to customers.</li> <li>Follow-up internally and externally to ensure all orders are properly shipped.</li> <li>Keep current on customer/competitor situations.</li> <li>Maintain and improve on current customer relationships/partnerships.</li> <li>Attend, participate, and contribute to team and forecast meetings.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>What you’ll bring:</strong></p> <ul> <li>BBA/BA/BS</li> <li>5+ years of experience in sales and a proven ability for achieving and exceeding sales goals</li> <li>Previous sales experience.</li> <li>Demonstrated track record of using business analytics and consumer insights to support strategic planning.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Excellent negotiation skills</li> <li>Strong relationship building and collaboration skills</li> <li>Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills</li> <li>Strong written communication skills</li> <li>Strong time management, prioritization, planning, and organization skills</li> <li>Results-oriented individual, with a sense of urgency</li> <li>Able to manage multiple priorities at one time and achieve results under strict deadlines</li> <li>Advanced analytical/Excel/PC skills</li> <li>30-40% Travel required <p> </p> </li> </ul>
