Utilizing strategic leadership, strong communication, and problem-solving skills, the Sr. Manager, Trade Merchandising will be accountable for leading a team of three Project Managers in the planning, coordination, and oversight of various Trade Merchandising projects.  This will include temporary, corrugate, and permanent retail displays and various rework projects for Key Retail accounts across the US. In this role, the Sr. Manager will collaborate with diverse multi-functional teams across Hasbro’s internal organization as well as external vendor partners. A Day in the Life of a Sr. Manager, Trade Merchandising

  • Leading a team of three project managers supporting 35+ retail partners.
  • Driving the strategic vision to enhance the in-store Hasbro-branded experience.
  • From inception to completion, seeing through Hasbro out-of-aisle merchandising executions. 
  • Overseeing, evaluating, and driving efficiencies across a multi-million budget.
  • Manage current vendor relationships while onboarding new vendors; foster relationships while driving expectations of deliverables.
  • Facilitate cross-functional relationships internally at Hasbro - bridging the gap between upstream development to downstream implementation.
  • Lead best-practice sharing within the Global organization driving new learnings and competencies across broader Hasbro teams.
  • Work in lockstep with finance to drive benchmarks and guidelines ensuring profitable, sound investment.
  • Guide continuous process improvements that boost speed to market and help overcome obstacles.
  • Lead the industry - stay abreast of current merchandising trends incorporating innovation into merchandising programs.
  • Deliver regular feedback and coaching to drive employee engagement and performance.

 

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline
  • 10+ years of retail/merchandising experience or consumer products experience required.
  • Previous experience managing direct reports.
  • Expertise in developing world-class, leading-edge merchandising solutions for retail.
  • Strong project management abilities; capable of prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously, under tight time constraints and within budget parameters.
  • Financial/quantitative analysis with ROI and budget maintenance
  • Experience with using Smartsheet.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint and Excel)
