We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Analyst who is committed to being part of Hasbro India's Costing team.
Responsibilities:
- To review, negotiate and finalize the product costs with suppliers in a timely manner.
- To conduct vendor cost management activities at vendor end, identify the cost reduction opportunities by enhancing the product value.
- To Support Hong kong Far East (HFE) team to analyze and complete the cost in P2M for adaptation items.
- Standardization, cost model development, cost parameters information gathering
- Responsible for the cost negotiation with toys manufacturing companies and material suppliers.
- To update the ex-factory cost for variations and adaptations in Hasbro costing systems (P2M/SAP) before first shipment to avoid revenue recognition risks and SOX non compliances.
- To update ACR, running change costs in P2M/PQS for adaptation items of the leads for China and Vietnam vendors.
- To update the costing for Carry Forward items after the Annual Cost Review negotiations as soon as possible to capture the full potential of the ACR savings.
- Partner with Engineering and Sourcing on the cost estimation and evaluation of new and carry forward items
- To create and maintain database of key market factors to support ex-factory cost analysis and negotiation (regional labor rates, resin and commodity costs, standard components etc.).
Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum of 6 years’ experience in product costing, product engineering, industrial engineering, or procurement in manufacturing industry.

University graduate in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Engineering or equivalent.
- Proficient in various PC applications (e.g. Microsoft Office, P2M, SAP) and preferable familiar with CAD and Pro E.
- Knowledge and experience in continuous improvement approaches (e.g. Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing) and manufacturing processes is a definite advantage.
- Knowledge of excel VBA and Power BI would be add on.
