QA Engineer

In this role, QA Engineer will:

• Develop vendor / supplier capability on chemical management and compliance
• Support internal and external parties on regulatory compliance and updates
• Support for impact assessment activities on Hasbro products from regulatory changes 

Key Responsibilities

• Review and assess new materials for chemical compliance
• Perform chemical safety assessment on materials, components and products, e.g. participate in the bill of substances (BoS) assessment program, supplier raw materials review and approval, BoS data analytics for regulatory compliance activities… etc.
• Visit factory to perform onsite chemical related case investigations review and verification when needed
• Support daily regulatory related enquiries from internal and external stakeholders
• Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the manager 

Requirements

• Bachelor or higher degree in Chemistry / Engineering or related subjects
• 3 years or more working experiences in quality or testing industry would be preferred
• Good knowledge in international regulations and testing standards on toys including EU Toy Safety Directive, CLP, US State Reporting.
• Knowledge in material processing, process control / management would be an advantage
• Attention to details, independent with strong problem-solving skills
• Good command of English
