We’re seeking an Art Team Manager to support the creative professionals behind Dungeons & Dragons's print and digital products. This role leads a cross-functional team of art directors and graphic designers that create the look and feel of D&D books, D&D accessories, and digital products for D&D Beyond.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of creatives responsible for art direction, graphic design, art commissioning, and production design across D&D’s analog and digital product lines.
  • Cultivate a team culture of inclusion and empowerment that promotes innovation, communication, and growth.
  • Support a healthy team through managing their workloads, developing their skills, and keeping close tabs on resourcing.
  • Own execution of a large volume of commissioned artwork, including pipeline development, budget, recruiting, and resourcing.
  • Lead innovation across print and digital workflows, partnering with production teams to evolve tools, specs, and systems from design through final delivery.
  • Translate creative goals into plans with cross-functional partners, navigating trade-offs while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Advance the visual development standards for printed books, game accessories, and packaging—as well as the assets that support digital play and online commerce.

What You'll Bring:

  • 7+ years of experience in creative production, with 2+ years leading creative teams in publishing, games, or entertainment.
  • Strong communication and mentorship skills that foster collaboration, trust, and a shared creative vision.
  • Proficiency in publishing and production workflows, from spec development and file prep to print manufacturing.
  • A track record of managing multiple complex creative projects with overlapping deadlines.
  • Experience building and managing vendor pipelines and budgets for both internal teams and outsource partners.
  • A collaborative approach to solving problems that helps bring clarity to ambiguous situations.

Nice to Have:

  • A love for fantasy storytelling and tabletop games.
  • Experience working with licensees.
  • Familiarity with asset creation for digital marketplaces or tools.

The base salary range for this position is $124,000.00 to $227,200.00. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
