We are seeking an enterprising and analytical Channel Development Manager to lead planning and execution for our board games portfolio within the Hobby Retail channel. This role is responsible for driving go-to-market readiness, demand forecasting, allocation planning, and sales enablement in partnership with internal sales, marketing, and product teams.
You will be the key strategic owner of hobby channel sales performance, aligning strategic priorities with sales execution plan (but without direct ownership of commercial relationships). You will help ensure our games are set up for success in by managing channel-level readiness, inventory planning, and launch strategy across the portfolio.
What You'll Do:
- Sales Projections: Own SKU-level demand forecasting and scenario planning for board games with our hobby channel distributors.
- Forecast Alignment: Partner with demand planning and finance teams to align forecasts to inventory strategies and revenue goals.
- Launch Planning: Drive go-to-market planning for new board game titles and reprints, ensuring your sales channel is commercially and operationally ready for launch.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Create and manage GTM timelines and cross-functional launch readiness checkpoints.
- Channel Readiness: Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and materials.
- Allocation Strategy: Collaborate with Sales Operations and Commercial teams to develop channel allocation strategies.
- Launch Sequencing: Sequence and prioritize board game launches to optimize product visibility and revenue pacing.
- Cross-Functional Integration: Serve as the connective tissue between cross-functional teams for hobby-specific sales strategy.
- Channel Advocacy: Act as the voice of the hobby channel in internal forums, bringing data-driven insights and field feedback to influence decisions.
What You'll Bring:
- Demonstrated ability in sales strategy, go-to-market planning, demand forecasting, or commercial planning (preferably in CPG, toys/games, or entertainment).
- Deep familiarity with the hobby games retail ecosystem is highly preferred.
- Outstanding analytical and interpersonal skills, with expertise in handling forecasts, calendars, or product portfolios.
- A proactive, strategic attitude with the ability to influence and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

The base salary range for this position is $96,000.00 to $144,000.00. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
