The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) Director will report to the Global SVP Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Purpose (DEI&P) and will sit within the Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro Gaming Business Unit to ensure that Hasbro’s DE&I efforts are globally impactful while ensuring “on-the ground” employee support and interactions. The DE&I director will partner with the SVP DE&IP to drive strategic thought leadership corporately and will also be a key strategic partner with the business leaders and key employee groups to integrate DE&I into the everyday operation and culture of the organization.

 

A day in the life:

 

  • Partner with SVP DEI&P, internal comms and external agencies to research, design, implement and share outstanding, global DE&I practices.
  • Evaluate and improve the key assets (product, marketing, content) review process improving our strategic DE&I plan.
  • Identify new opportunities to integrate and amplify different perspectives within our processes and products.
  • Lead the Global ERG strategy and execution globally while empower our outstanding Employee Resource Groups, helping them deliver their goals while growing the feedback loop to leadership.
  • Program manages the expansion of our “data capture” initiatives - inclusive of Global Gender ID and Race and Ethnicity, outside of the US.
  • Build and moderate safe spaces for honest and practical dialogue around DE&I while challenging conventional wisdom.
  • Understand, flag, and propose solutions to address social and cultural issues either in business unit or within the broader corporate landscape.
  • Work with Talent Management to ensure the delivery of learning experiences that will develop leaders, managers and employees in an equitable fashion that builds a more inclusive environment.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to build internal and external partnerships that help attract and amplify under-represented perspectives.
  • Tight partnership with the Philanthropy teams to align our key social impact partners across our DE&I tenants.
  • Work with SVP DE&IP to evaluate and report the effectiveness of our diversity activities and their impact on both culture and business results.
  • Lead and develop a team to ensure their growth and development while delivering against high impact initiatives.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally with a focus in business, HR, or related fields.
  • 8+ years of dynamic leadership experience in business, marketing, HR, philanthropy, or similar people-focused functions.
  • You have an established reputation as a trusted advisor, influencing with finesse, business insight, and stewardship of our brands to drive continuous improvement.
  • Proven success as a leader or executive sponsor for building, implementing and running successful DE&I programs and initiatives.
