Director of Production Services

Wizards is in search of a versatile and proven professional to join our team as the Director of Production Services. This pivotal role provides an outstanding opportunity to craft and construct our digital gaming production services from the ground up. Responsibilities

• Direct all Wizards Digital Gaming Publishing Production Services teams: Quality Assurance, Release Management, Localization, and Customer Support.

• Ensure all efforts are strictly directed toward delivering on our publishing ambitions through managing team priorities, establishing streamlined processes, and planning for the future needs of our portfolio.
• Collaborate meaningfully with our internal studios to achieve world-class results.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to direct reports, encouraging an inclusive and collaborative environment.
• As a member of the Digital Gaming Publishing Leadership, continually seek process and strategy optimization to:
• Care for and grow our team members
• Implement standard methodologies used in the industry
• Anticipate, identify, and mitigate risks
• Balance short-term needs with longer-term considerations

Experience

• 10+ years of experience in the video game industry, primarily on console/PC; mobile and emerging platforms are a plus.

• 5+ years managing teams of varying size and seniority.
• A strong leader, you will have formed, led, and grown teams in the video game industry, specifically in the areas of video game Publishing or Development.
• You should have firsthand management experience in at least two of the following fields: Quality Assurance, Release Management, Localization, and Customer Service.
• Strong understanding of global publishing needs, as well as budget planning and cost tracking.
• Exhibit a mentality that prioritizes service and a proven track record of working on AAA releases.
• A diplomatic leadership style: understand pressure points, anticipate friction, and always strive for a dedicated approach.
• Comfortable jumping from large strategic topics to in-depth granular assessments.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation Range, Currency USD:

• Starting Pay Range: $165,000

• Pay Range End: $321,100
