Are you proficient in memes and mythologies? Can you summon engagement with a single post and rally a fandom with nothing but a caption and a dream? We’re looking for a Social Marketing Director who thrives in the digital culture, champions community, and knows how to wield the mighty power of social storytelling across platforms and planes!

In this role, you'll lead the social marketing strategy for Dungeons & Dragons, bringing campaigns to life in ways that are authentic, exciting, and thumb-stopping! You’ll also champion the social voice of Hasbro Pulse, our direct-to-consumer playground for the biggest brands in pop culture—Star Wars, Marvel, GI Joe, Transformers, and more.

This isn’t just about scheduling posts. It’s about crafting culture, listening to fans, and igniting fandoms across the multiverse.


Your Mission (Key Responsibilities)

  • Voice of the Realms: Own and evolve the social media voice and strategy for D&D and Hasbro Pulse across key platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Reddit, Discord, and more).
  • Content Conjurer: Lead planning and execution of high-impact social campaigns, channel strategies, and content calendars that drive fandom, engagement, and conversion.
  • Fan First, Always: Build and nurture vibrant communities, surfacing and amplifying fan content, running activations, and being an always-on presence in the lives of our players and collectors.
  • Pulse Sync: Develop cross-platform strategies for Pulse launches—including HasLab projects, brand drops, livestreams, exclusives, and fan events.
  • Crisis + Magic: Supervise brand sentiment, lead social listening, and respond to community feedback with authenticity, compassion, and sometimes... a wink.
  • Team Captain: Run internal and external social teams, agencies, and creators, providing mentorship, feedback, and vision.
  • Cross-Function Collaborator: Partner closely with brand marketing, creative, PR, digital, and franchise teams to bring the best stories to life, on-brand, and on time.


Your Equipment (Qualifications)

  • Experience: 7+ years in social media marketing, with experience building brand love and fan engagement for consumer, gaming, or entertainment brands.
  • Strategy + Fuel: Blend critical thinking with creative flair. You can write a killer tweet and build a 6-month roadmap—before lunch.
  • Fandom Proficiency: Deep understanding of internet and fandom culture. You know what’s trending, what’s cringe, and what hits.
  • Leadership: Strong experience developing teams and working with agencies, with a collaborative, energizing management style.
  • Analytical Demeanor: You bring a data-first approach to measuring impact, iterating, and optimizing performance.
  • Player Energy: Passion for tabletop, gaming, genre storytelling, toys & collectibles, and enthusiast culture is a huge plus. You are dedicated to the fandom natively.

Compensation Range, Currency USD:

  • Starting Pay Range: $166,600
  • Pay Range End: $250,000
