The Magic Game Design team is a hardworking and vibrant team dedicated to making Magic fun, inviting, replayable, and exciting. Producers for the Game Design team shepherd play experiences from beginning to end, working with Game Designers and partners in Editing & Rules, Creative, Product Strategy, Digital, and Production to ensure we are crafting the best possible products and delivering them on schedule.
This Game Producer role draws on your enthusiasm for helping people, an ability to collaborate with others, deep Magic knowledge, and a drive to constantly seek improvements. You’ll join our team of outstanding Designers and Producers to conduct the process of building exciting products that our customers love, primarily for our Universes Beyond product lines.
A day in the life as a Game Design Producer
- Create and maintain Smartsheet templates, track project schedules, and follow up with Game Designers to keep us on target for our releases.
- Coordinate partner check-ins, take ownership of Game Design deadlines and achievements, and ensure Game Designers are set up to craft outstanding gameplay experiences.
- Build and maintain processes to improve teamwork between Game Design and other departments.
- Support our digital review processes for Magic Arena and Magic: The Gathering Online cardset implementation, partnering with several cross-functional teams to ensure that reviews and feedback are timely and effective.
- Prepare playtests and other feedback channels, and coordinate collection of feedback.
- Build documentation for game designers and create presentations for design leadership to stay updated on project statuses.
- Get things done! Take notes with action items to drive conversations to conclusions.

Compensation Range, Currency USD:
- Starting Pay Range: $47.00/hour
- Pay Range End: $57.00/hour
In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the hourly pay range for this role.
