We are currently looking for IT Hardware / Software Asset Manager. This is an on-site role at our office in Renton WA. You will be required to be at the office from Tuesday to Thursday.
What You'll Do:
The IT Hardware/Software Asset Manager is responsible for overseeing the lifecycle management of all IT hardware and software assets across the organization. This includes procurement, inventory tracking, compliance, license management, renewal planning, and vendor coordination to ensure assets are utilized efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Asset Lifecycle Management

Oversee the full lifecycle of IT hardware and software assets—from procurement and deployment to maintenance and retirement—ensuring cost-effective and compliant management.

Inventory & Tracking
-
Maintain accurate, real-time asset inventories using management tools and systems (e.g., ServiceNow, SCCM, Lansweeper).

Software License Management
-
Ensure compliance with software licensing by monitoring usage, managing entitlements, coordinating renewals, and conducting audits.

Hardware Deployment & Recovery

Coordinate the provisioning, deployment, and recovery of IT hardware (laptops, desktops, mobile devices, servers), while maintaining clear assignment records.

Policy Development & Compliance

Contribute to the development, implementation, and enforcement of IT asset management policies, standards, and procedures.

Vendor & Contract Management

Partner with procurement and vendors to manage contracts, negotiate renewals, and sustain relationships supporting asset lifecycle activities.

Reporting & Analytics
-
Deliver regular and ad hoc reports on asset utilization, compliance status, depreciation, and forecasts to support budgeting and strategic decisions.

Process Optimization

Identify and implement improvements to asset management processes that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
What You'll Bring:
-
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience
-
2–4 years of IT asset management, IT operations, or related experience

Proficiency with asset management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, SCCM, Lansweeper, JAMF, Intune)

Strong knowledge of software licensing models and compliance practices

Experience coordinating with vendors and managing contracts/renewals

Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Nice to Have:
-
ITIL Foundation or IT Asset Management certification (CHAMP, CAMP, CITAM)

5+ years of enterprise-scale IT asset management experience

Advanced reporting/analytics skills (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

Familiarity with financial concepts such as depreciation, budgeting, and cost optimization

Experience managing cloud-based assets (SaaS, cloud infrastructure)

The base salary range for this position is $112,800.00 to $169,200.00. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
