Infrastructure Software Engineer

Our headquarters is located in Seattle, Washington, but we support fully remote employees. We are looking for a versatile and dedicated Infrastructure Software Engineer to join our team. Together, we will delight our partners by collaborating to deliver the next iteration of our Online Game Services API. Though the primary focus will be in crafting and maintaining infrastructure solutions, this person will also work across subject areas including software engineering, advocating for efficiency and developer experience, and participate in an on-call schedule.

The ideal candidate will be prepared to have discussions covering Kubernetes, Terraform, DevOps methodologies, and know their way around the AWS cloud platform. Ideally, they will also be passionate about measuring efficiency in dynamic environments and workflows while nurturing quality - and having fun while doing it!

What You'll Do:

• Craft and deploy infrastructure solutions with mentorship from our technology leadership
• Work directly with software engineering teams to drive an effective and efficient infrastructure experience
• Capture and render sophisticated metrics and alerting for both internal and consumer-facing applications
• Support the infrastructure team to guide the organization through groundbreaking cloud technologies and industry trends

What You'll Bring:

• A growth mindset and desire to level up your HCL, Yaml and Golang skills
• Infrastructure Software Engineering background, with success stories around providing administration of dynamic cloud environments (Kubernetes via EKS) via Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)
• Detailed understanding of SDLC and CI/CD concepts (we use GitlabCI and ArgoCD)
• Strong experience working with Amazon Web Services
• Outstanding communication skills and proven track record of presenting to technical and non-technical audiences alike
• High level of comfort addressing Agile/SCRUM methodologies
• Intermediate experience with cloud solution design patterns (networking, microservices, messaging, distributed caching, containers, IAM etc.)

Compensation Range, Currency USD:

• Starting Pay Range: $100,880
• Pay Range End: $167,520
