Our Wizards Supply Chain team is looking for an Inventory Specialist to support our global product line! This position is responsible for the management and accuracy of Wizards of the Coast inventory that is maintained at vendors and 3rd party storage locations. You will use this data to maintain inventory levels that allows sales to meet their sales forecasts while minimizing storage costs and obsolescence.

 

What You'll Do:

Inventory management:

  • Responsible for the accuracy of WOTC inventory at vendors and 3rd party facilities.

  • Manage WOTC owned product & components that are maintained at vendor facilities.

  • Initiate reprints or inventory transfers as changes in demand information shifts.

  • Monitor WOTC inventory at all Hasbro offices globally.

  • Produce a weekly WOTC inventory report for global distribution as well as on-demand reports as needed.

  • Analyze and implement disposition of obsolete inventory. This includes re-purposing, donation and destruction.

  • Report on WOTC inventory obsolescence.


Supply Chain Analysis:

  • Collect product demand information and obtain commitment approvals associated with the purchase or transfer of the needed inventory.

  • Ensure inventory is available to meet sales forecast targets.

  • Determine optimal initial procurement timing, quantity and vendor selection via inventory analysis and collaboration with the R&D, purchasing and sales teams.

  • Develop analytics and data management capabilities including metrics and reports.

 

What You'll Bring:

  • 3+yrs professional experience as a supply chain and/or inventory analyst.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Ability to drive projects forward. You provide clear and concise direction/feedback.

  • Strong project management abilities: capable of prioritizing and balancing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to successfully collaborate with all professional levels.

  • Well-developed verbal, written, and presentation skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
