 The Internship Experience 

This project‑based internship (one or more scoped projects) places you at the center of modern marketing innovation. As a Marketing Insights & AI Innovation Intern, you will help shape the future of social listening, AI‑powered analytics, and marketing measurement. You’ll work cross‑functionally with Measurement, Social, Data, and Brand teams to transform complex data into insights that directly inform campaign strategy, community engagement, and leadership decision-making. 

 

What You'll Do:  

AI & Innovation 

  • Research and evaluate AI‑driven opportunities to enhance social listening, sentiment analysis, trend detection, and insight generation. 

  • Assess emerging tools—including LLMs, NLP workflows, automation platforms, and advanced analytics solutions. 

  • Develop proof‑of‑concept pilots that apply AI to campaign monitoring, audience understanding, and insight automation. 

  • Present recommendations and an implementation roadmap to Marketing leadership. 

Social Listening & Insight Development 

  • Support ongoing social listening initiatives related to product launches, tentpole events, influencer activations, and brand campaigns. 

  • Identify shifts in sentiment, awareness, and purchase intent across priority SKUs and audiences. 

  • Conduct pre‑ and post‑campaign analyses tied to embargo lifts, paid media launches, and community moments. 

  • Translate social and community conversations into structured insight decks for executive‑level stakeholders. 

  • Dashboard Development & Data Visualization 

  • Design and build dashboards using internal data architecture (e.g., SQL‑based pipelines, Tableau, Power BI). 

  • Integrate data from social listening platforms, Google Analytics, paid media sources, and CRM datasets. 

  • Develop automated reporting views for campaign performance, sentiment tracking, and product‑level mentions. 

  • Enhance visualization clarity and storytelling quality for leadership‑ready reporting. 

Marketing Measurement Support 

  • Assist with campaign measurement planning, KPI definition, and performance tracking frameworks. 

  • Support survey‑based initiatives measuring awareness, sentiment, and purchase intent. 

  • Help document best practices and standardize social reporting methodologies across teams. 

 

What You’ll Bring:  

  • Familiarity with social listening platforms (Sprinklr a plus). 

  • Interest or background in AI technologies, NLP, automation tools, or insight generation workflows. 

  • Exposure to data architecture concepts, SQL environments, or marketing analytics infrastructure. 

  • Experience with dashboarding tools such as Tableau or Power BI. 

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret and simplify complex data. 

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly and concisely. 

  • Organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working on multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment. 

  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to work cross‑functionally with diverse teams. 

Nice to Have:  

  • Experience with data warehouses, ETL processes, or database querying (SQL). 

  • Prior exposure to machine learning concepts, data science workflows, or AI model evaluation. 

  • Comfort working with large datasets, including cleaning, merging, and structuring data for analysis. 

  • Experience designing insight decks or delivering storytelling‑driven presentations for senior stakeholders. 

  • Understanding of sentiment analysis methodologies or social intelligence frameworks. 

  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, CRM systems, or paid media reporting. 

  • Ability to build automated workflows using AI tools, scripting, or no‑code automation platforms. 

  • Experience supporting campaign measurement or marketing research projects.  

Compensation Range, Currency USD:    

  •  $34.00 – $40.00/hour  

Program Details   

  • Interview Timeline: February – April   

  • Program Dates:   

  • Start: Early June (target June 8)   

  • End: Late August (target August 21)   

  • Commitment: Full-time (40 hours/week)   

  • Final rates communicated during offer process   

  • Location: Co-op locations vary by role and team. Most opportunities are hybrid or in-office and based in one of Hasbro’s core hubs or satellite offices, including:

The base salary range for this position is $34.00 to $40.00. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
