We are seeking a Product Engineer / Print Production Specialist to join our team! The role works to specify the materials and processes used to manufacture our legendary tabletop games. This role works closely with our suppliers and internal creative partners to develop products that exceed our game developer's vision and business needs.

Responsibilities include crafting manufacturing specifications, defining production processes, and leading pre-production activities through final production of games with external suppliers.
 

What You'll Do:

Develops printing and manufacturing solutions to meet our vision for appearance and function of products.
Builds detailed product specifications.
Handles cost estimates during each phase of product development to targets set by finance.
Reviews confirming proofs and materials from suppliers.
Reviews and confirms accuracy of print forms using approved methodology.
Develops collation plans with suppliers to ensure the correct components are packed out in products.
Partners with creative team to incorporate decorative treatments into MTG products.


What You'll Bring:

3-5 years required experience minimum in printproduction areas including: art production, purchasing, traffic, marketing, prepress, printing, and packaging.
Required understanding of basic offset and digital print methods.
Required high level problem solving with basis in clear logic.
Required use of Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel, Teams and Outlook
Required experience with Adobe Acrobat, Highly Desired familiarity with InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator
Required attention to detail, highly desired high-level color perception.
Required clear communication within a complementary team and across business channels.

 

Nice to Have:

Highly desired self-motivated with desire to continually learn within the role.
Preferred awareness of industry trends in both tabletop gaming and broader print industry.
4 Year Degree in relevant creative field highly desired

Compensation Range, Currency USD:

  • Starting Pay Range: $74,960 
  • Pay Range End: $126,600
