We are seeking a Senior Product Insights Research Manager to help us better understand our customers’ passions and provide data driven insights around key initiatives for Magic: The Gathering. The ideal candidate excels end to end market research, connect the dots across multiple data sources, and is willing to dig deep into quantitative and qualitative data.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead end to end mix methodology survey-based research projects from design to analysis to final presentation
  • Deep dive quantitative analysis to uncover latent insights and drivers of player behavior.
  • Bring the voice of the customer to life with data driven storytelling.
  • Collaborate with game designers, marketing, and other business leaders to transform high level business questions into measurable research.
  • Develop deep, research driven product and player expertise.

What You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in consumer insights, UX/User research, or client-side market research.
  • 3+ years conducting mixed methods research.
  • Deep knowledge of research standards and sampling methodologies.
  • Quantitative analytics expertise using SPSS, STATA, R or Python.
  • Familiarity putting qualitative research in quantitative context to inform high level business strategy and market sizing.
  • Ability to own and lead a project from end to end.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain high-level findings to business leaders
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate with all professional levels
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing competing priorities among multiple stakeholders
  • A consistent track record of innovation, flexibility, and critical thinking.
  • Knowledge and experience with Magic: The Gathering OR willingness to learn.

Compensation Range, Currency USD:

  • Starting Pay Range: $87,760
  • Pay Range End: $147,000
